I don't find myself checking this thread as often as I probably should.

Who's all going to the show up at Running Aces this Saturday?

1cleanZ 07-07-2016 03:24 PM

crickets here in the Midwest threads for 370's in MN :\

Zthirty4NISMO 07-11-2016 10:43 AM

I'm here lurking.. I'm in SW MN, haven't posted in here before but am interested to see where some MN guys are at.

I'm in Saint Cloud, the ******* of MN. Probably the only 370 in this town. I haven't seen another in the two years I've had it.

Thinking about getting a motorcycle to bring some excitement and danger to my life.

There are more and more 370's popping up every day it seems here in the twin cities as pricing keeps dropping on them.

Hello fellow MN Z owners...

I have a '13 Nismo in magma red that I want to keep washed and waxed in the summers. The only problem is that I live in a tiny apartment in downtown Minneapolis without a car wash area. When I used to live in Plymouth I was washing my car about every other Sunday morning and waxed it once a summer. Now I'm thinking about getting an unlimited monthly touchless automatic car wash deal somewhere. Any recommendations on where to look, or how to keep my nismo shiny in the summer?

Holiday is where I go. I recently just moved to crystal and have a driveway to use if you wanted to swing by ever. The only trade is you'd have to teach me how to wax the car lol I've been watching some YouTube vids and still can't get the swirl marks out!

Are they even under 20k locally yet?

Early year base models are.

Just put my Z away for the winter, but maybe we can get some cruises going this Spring?

I hardly ever see Z's in Minneapolis. Everyone's on the FR-S/BRZ hype train. I actually sold my '13 FR-S for a '15 nismo... best decision of my life.

Zthirty4NISMO 01-05-2017 04:43 PM

Hey MN guys! So when I sit and look at my Z hibernating all winter, I find myself looking at parts and what I'm going to buy for it. Looking at doing quite a bit of Fast Intentions stuff so I'm looking for reputable shop recommendations for doing install work, tuning, and dyno runs (for those of you who don't do your own work). I'm aware of DB Performance in Rodgers, but have no experience with them.

TIA

Nevermind, looks like a fellow Minnesotan already inquired about this. I usually search too..

Thanks for the info guys was just searching for some dyno tuning around MN...ill probably go to DB performance in Rogers although I live 3 hours away in hibbing...I don't suppose there is a dyno tuner in duluth mn is there? Would love not to have to drive 3 hours for this lol

Anyways I have a 14 nismo and just got long tube nismo intakes, fast intention resonated test pipes, and fast intentions CBE...I don't know much about tuning but I assume it would be a good idea to get a dyno tune at this point?...I don't plan on much more engine work so I figured a tune was in order? Any thoughts on any of this thanks guys

Do you NEED a tune? No. Can you benefit from one? Definitely.

There was one place in Duluth, if I remember correctly. Mostly specialized in DSM and related things. This is knowledge from 8-10 years ago, so don't take my word.

Rare to see another Z, especially a NISMO, in Hibbing. I was the only one for the longest time as far as I knew. We just moved back from Japan and are living south of Minneapolis.

Hey guys

I just sold off all my Z parts, but found one more in my garage. I have one of the carbon front lip accents for a '14+. Brand new never mounted. It's basically just an add on for the front center of the cover. I don't remember how much I paid so I'm open to any offer.
