If you can do it yourself, go to the DIY shop in Eden Prairie. I forget the name, but I can find it for you if you're interested in doing it yourself.

Thanks for the advice! I'll call them first thing tomorrow morning. I know the place your talking about in EP but can't think of the name either. I tried calling there last week though and no one ever answered. I'll give them a shot again.

Well those shops previously mentioned wanted over $500. I decided to go to the "mom and pop" place in Shakopee (Ark Automotive). I'd highly recommend them. Matt, I believe the owner, is a very knowledgeable. Just a heads up for any of you in the southern metro looking for a shop. Loving the Swifts too! :tiphat:

Ha maybe tomorrow after this snow storm passes. Supposed to get my new wheels/tires installed tomorrow afternoon as well. Not certain I want to follow through with that if the roads are still bad though.

Mai-z 04-18-2013 02:30 PM

wurd. This trip next week doesn't look too plausible.

cgust 04-21-2013 05:16 PM

Well I had my wheels put on yesterday! Here is a shot I took today just as the rain was starting to come down.

Those look sick! I always wanted to see these wheels on a 370. I seriously contemplated buying them when they were FS in the marketplace... I'm glad you did it! My car goes to the body shop next week to put on my front lip and Add-on spoiler. Then I'll post pics after I get my wheels on.

What are you lowered on and how much?

edit: NVM  did you need camber arms and toe bolts?

cgust 04-21-2013 05:48 PM

I had Swift springs installed. Just the right amount of drop for me. Here are two more shots. The rain makes my black cherry look almost black so I tried a black and white conversion..

Sorry. Still didn't answer your question ha. No I didn't need any camber arms. I'm just out of the factory range. And no toe bolts needed either.

Do you have a scan of the alignment specs?

cgust 04-21-2013 06:24 PM

I don't have a scan but its:

Camber front
Left -1.1
Right -1.4
Factory range 0.1 to -1.4

Camber rear
Left -2.4
Right -2.3
Factory range -1.2 to -2.2

Damn, those are nice wheels. Your pics are awesome.

I should look at the list for our summer event, but I don't remember if you added your name or were interested in a field trip to Schell's Brewery.

cgust 04-22-2013 09:32 PM

Thanks! And I am interested in the group ride. Once a date is confirmed I'll chime in on that thread if I'm able to make it.

So anyone besides me going from MN to Zdayz this year?
