yeah i just got it yesterday. had some scratches and stuff working with the dealership to fix it because they said no scratches when it was sold to me. By the way, my names tony, might know me as zanes friend that has been looking for a Z.

My Z is now stored for the winter. :(

I just picked up an old jeep for the winter so the z has been a daily driver up to this morning.

The potenza's that come on the sport wheels... Man! I know the manufacturers comments about cold weather come as a warning but wow. These tires do not like the cold, more so than I imagined.

Tony, glad to see you found the forum as well. I'm Lance which we conversed a bit on IG.

Better get the dealer to get the black Nismo looking fresh!!! Will you have it back by this weekend? Some of us might be getting together Saturday or Sunday depending if the rain holds out. Who would have thought we'd be having this weather in November? (NOT complaining!!!!!!)

There's not a whole lot you need to you. Some use a batter tender, jack the car up or just put carpet squares under the tires to prevent flat spots, and a bottle of fuel stapilizer to prevent breakdown of the gas.

I bought my G35 coupe back in '08 from Alabama just seeing photos and had it shipped up and when it arrived it looked freakin' TRASHED! Definitely negotiate it, I had it quoted for a full professional detail at $450- which they sent me a check for.

Depending on how bad it is, one of the best detailers in the country lives right in Shakopee (Rasky).

Yeah in the process of it, got a quote at Nissan wayzata for 1700. They stayed no removable scratches or improper paint repairs, which there is. So I'm just waiting on a reply from the gm. I have all paper work signed from them stating it's supposed to be clean to! They practically screwed themselves

Got back with the dealer, they will send me a $700 check for repairs is the most they would go. Going to the shop where tevi and zane went (certified nissan) in brooklyn park, any other suggestions?

waaaait, are referring to Lupient?? There are much better detailers/painters that will KILL the work they will do for $700. Tevi's front bumper in photos doesn't even blend with his bodycolor. Yes, pearl white is one of the hardest colors to paint, but as a factory color, they should be able to do it.

100% call Chad. Here is his website: Rasky's Auto Detailing

He is well known throughout the country, and does the best of the best work. He's one of the top resources on Detailed Image (detailing blog). There's guys that SHIP cars to him throughout the US and Canada!

He's typically booked about 3-5 months(which says something about his work) but is in your favor with winter. Your car will literally look better then showroom new.

I stoped by lupient and wasn't to expensive, I emailed chad, I'll see if he can take a look at the z! I saw your g before, and FLAWLESS! I'll most likely to go with the people you recommend.

My G...yeah, I hardly drove, and for that very reason, to try and keep show quality. I bought it from Georgia from a very reputable member on the myg37 forums. I spent a lot of money on paint for my kit/trunk, but it was well worth it. Only thing I regretted w/ the car was...i wasn't able to enjoy it enough since i was so paranoid about the damn paint! lol...black sure can be a PITA

Depending on how bad the repair is, Janik is a G member that has been doing detailing on the side for a few years now. He actually learned everything he knows from Chad. I think he typically charges 2-300. He's not a professional, but he is very reputable (I've known him for years) and knows what he's doing. I can get you in touch with him too, he goes to school in Fargo but comes home for weekends and jobs.

Chad is one of the "best of the best" and is a professional. He reads your clear coat and how thick it is, and does full paint repair. He's taken some cars that everyone said needed to be repainted and he made them look brand spankin' new.

Yeah this is my 2nd black car, they are a pain in the *** but look so nice! I think zane has told me about janik before. Id just like to go with chad since he might have more experience with it but if anything, since 2 g members has said janik does nice jobs i wouldn't have issues going through him also.
