Fast Fridays this Friday at Aristocrat. Charity event.

"We are excited to announce that we are bringing back our Charity Car Show benefiting the T.A.K.E. Organization (Ali Kemp Foundation) Since I met Roger Kemp several years ago I have admired his actions promoting the teaching of girls and women's self defense. So for the final FF of 2014 we wanted to do something bigger and better than our last TAKE car show.

The Car show will be held September 26th at Aristocrat Motors lower lot, (you can't miss it) and will start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Car show registration is NOW open, we are limiting the amount of cars to 150, this WILL sell out very quickly so get registered at the shop or call in with your info as soon as possible. Registration is $20 per car with 100% of all proceeds going directly to Roger and the organization.

On top of the car show we will have entertainment such as a DJ booth, Several food trucks, and desert trucks, as well as activities for the kids!

But most importantly we are bringing back the LIVE auction. Last time we raised almost $20,000 dollars, and with the help and support of the local small business community I think we can beat that!!! Please inbox me, call me, email me, or stop by with you donations for the LIVE auction.

This FAST FRIDAYS is sponsored by -

Aristocrat Motors
FUEL Bar & Grill
One Block South
Toyo Tires
Dropstars Wheels
TIS Wheels
Santa Fe Tow Service
Exotic Motors Midwest
Memphis Car Audio

If you have any questions regarding this event, sponsorship, donations, vendor booths, or the charity please call me at the shop 913-962-5200.

Click www.takedefense.org to learn more about our favorite local charity.

Once again, 100% of the money raised from the car show, and auction go to the foundation!!!"

Agree especially based on the turnout of the last one we went to...what was it 8 cars? and two of them were ours.

There was a sweet nude colored Fiat with numerous European stickers though...

There are at least 2 events that contain the names "Cars & Coffee" One is at The Roasterie of Southwest Boulevard and the one I posted above is at the Kansas City Automotive Museum in Olathe.

Based on the pictures on the the attendance at The Roasterie was thin but thought the attendance at KCAM was "respectable".

There is also the one that was way south at that new AutoPlex.
The one that was held at Homer's on Metcalf.

There are too many...

edub370 09-25-2014 03:06 PM

i have yet to go to any of them

Ghostvette 09-25-2014 03:41 PM

I went to one at Homer's. Not a bad turn out, just not enough room in the place.

I saw pictures of today's event on a friends Facebook page and it looks like they had a pretty good turnout. I am hopeful this event sticks around.
