So where do we signup for ride-alongs? :driving: I need to know what my future ride is gonna be like :icon17:

On a side note, I am hating the frameless door/window because winter. It froze shut and couldn't open it lol

That's if and when it shows up. Still have to go to GameStop to pick up the games. On a side note. Hendrix Nissan off of Shawnee Mission has a 2013 Magma Red Nismo for sale....

I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay this price for a 370Z!

I still don't think it would be terrible. The demon bolts are definitely overrated. I think it took me 20 minutes total to drop the cats. Once I had the intakes and cats out, I looked the headers over really well and its tight but doable. It was kind of tough to see everything because of the heat shields on the headers. It wouldn't be much fun but I still think you could probably do it in a long day. I would definitely make sure you want to keep the car first. Has anyone posted a DIY or an install manual?

I'm getting really close to starting my car. Just need to finish boost/vacuum lines, check all the connection points, flash the base tune, and fill it up with oil. Maybe tomorrow. Then all the damn electronics.........

tower74 11-22-2013 09:13 PM

How close is your car to being ready? Sounds like you are close.

m3chhawk 11-22-2013 09:27 PM

It really depends on how long the gauges and EBC take. I'm thinking about an hour for all the vacuum/boost lines and then a solid day of wiring. Not sure how long it will take to tear the triple cluster apart and build mounts.

m3chhawk 11-22-2013 09:40 PM

Have you made plans for the GTR yet?

At the cost of the mods for this thing, it will be 1 thing a year or 2. I just started to look into how much just things like exhaust and cold air. Close to $4000 for both and that's the cheap one.

Tony at FI did say he was working on an exhaust for the GTR, well probably more like his own:tup:

m3chhawk 11-22-2013 10:31 PM

Yeah I think that would be my problem with owning one. I could afford one, but I couldn't afford one AND afford to mod it Which would drive me crazy.

It's a weeks paycheck per month. I just need to work a lot more to afford the good mods or just save for awhile.
