what is your concern about the tranny?

i have delt with that performance shop in Forest Park, Tire Discounters Performance center or whatever it is called. They wanted like $150 for an alignment and almost 1600 for new tires, i wouldnt suggest you waste anytime there.

I prefer to do my own work at all costs so i know how it is done.

If you are looking for a tuner (ecu) Injected Performance in Lexington is a good source for that.

Well, like many of MT owners said, mine was not that smooth at first. And now I think I'm kind of used it - I shift without problem. But still, I'm not sure if this is just normally weird or weird weird. So I thought it'd be easier to tell if I compare mine with others.

Actually, what I want from those shops are not that complex things - like installing an aftermarket rear diffuser or exhaust system.

I wish I were handy like you. lol.

im putting on my exhaust tomorrow of satuday, it isnt hard at all about 8 bolts and its on... best way is to just try and do it, a rear diffuser is very simple to put on too, comes with a template most likely on where to drill.

Nice. Can I just observe your garage work and learn how?

So if you live anywhere by Cleveland and see a silver 370 spinning tires on every corner it takes, that would be me because I just ordered new tires and have to burn these ones off lol

Yo - I am in cincy too and have had my Z for about a month now. I dont know of any shops I would trust either and am looking forward to doing some of my own work as I break her in nicely. You guys ever do any "garage" scenes? I am not really interested in meeting to look at z's but would be a fan of meeting up and working on some modifications with fellow enthusiast - might be a shot in the dark though!

I'd be interested in this as well. I have a bunch of aftermarket stuff sitting in boxes right now (Springs, read camber arms, Gen3 intake) and more coming in the way of wheels and front lip.

alright if you all want i can have a few of you over for a small install party, NO DOUCHBAGGERY WILL BE TOLLERATED, nor will drinking and driving.

im pretty busy on my weekends duw to constantly being out of town, next weekend i will be in NC for my wife, but the weekend after that actually could work. not trying to have 15 guys here just 3-4, we could def install those Springs, read camber arms, Gen3 intakes in a few hours with a few guys working together. If you are up for this pm me.

it would have to be a saturday also, not sunday install that is the wifes day...

Im in Cincy as well. I think we should get a meet setup, would love to hear some exhausts and what not before I purchase. Maybe everyone move this conversation to the Cincinnati Owners Thread? I also have tons of tools, garage, compressor, everything needed for DIY installs.
