lochness 11-26-2011 09:46 AM

Welcome to the group. Its about time someone else from Columbus started posting. Its too bad its going to snow next week and the Z's will have to go away for the winter.

370ZLady 11-26-2011 09:51 AM

Haha, I always pondered around this site but never made an account. So I was like eh, what the heck... Yah, snows hitting this wednesday I think. But I still going to drive my Z haha, I'm getting a set of Blizzaks.

I hardly see any other Z's, and I'm all over the place haha

370ZLady 11-26-2011 10:57 AM

hmmm I feel like u guys are scattered o_O If i see another Z I'm going to follow u O_O lmao :D

lochness 11-26-2011 03:51 PM

I'm pretty sure I would kill myself if I drove my Z in the snow.

Yeah there's no Z's around Columbus. I drive up and down 315 all the time and never see any.

370ZLady 11-26-2011 04:43 PM

I was just on 315 o_O ;D I was just cruzing on 70E, 315N, 315S, 71S, 270N, 270S, I just went everywhere o_O I was just boreddd... oh and I also went crazy on the speeding :D keke. we should cruiz together sometime O_O

I know the feeling. While I haven't had my Z for very long I have yet to see another one here in the Toledo area. I know from the forums that there are atleast two others but I have yet to see them. Guess I should move to Fort Worth. I was down there for work and saw 5 in just a 4 hour time period.

Hm, 50/50, its nice that it's not the same case as in mustangs, I see like 1/8 cars being a mustang, and it gets annoying -_-. So few = nice. But when your like the only one ever O_O it gets lonely :( mustangs gang up on me :(

I don't doubt it. I have no problem driving my daily driver all winter. That way the Z keeps its miles down and the times I do get to drive it are that much more fun.

SOL anytime you want to cruise let me know. Granted it will have to be after March I'm guessing.

I was sliding so much, and I was only going 60... i sled across 4 lanes.... good thing there were hardly any cars.... I had to pull over and start driving like 45..... I think its made for deep snow O_O lol

I live in Northeast Ohio in the Cleveland area and have not seen ANY other Z's. There are a few 350's, but NO 370's.

It is snowing in Cleveland this AM, but the Z is parked for the winter in the garage, so I don't have to worry about slidding all over the place (although it would be a blast).

We do need to get a Z gathering next Spring or Summer that is centrally located so it's not a long drive for any one. We do this in the Honda ST1300 forum that I belong to and it's worked out very well. Mansfield is our place of choice and we usually ride in for breakfast, shoot the $hit and then leave. It's great to put a name to a face.

That sounds like a good idea.

SOL I saw a MB Z south of campus turning onto Neil (6ish). Any chance it was you? It was the only 370 I saw this month.

Theres a roadster in strongsville...and a monterey blue and a red nismo that were at the medina car meets, and a black one that is usually parked across the street from the Rally in the Alley alley. they are there, just not common.

Were you in Toledo a few weeks ago Mults??

mults 12-01-2011 07:00 AM

It may have been me. We have a 32-ft travel trailer in Marblehead and we sometimes make a day trip to Toledo to eat at Tony Packo's when we are there. It's only about an hour away and a nice drive down RT2.

370ZLady 12-04-2011 06:31 AM

I sped past a yellow Z ;d whoever that was... HAIII ;D

I think maybe because I didn't put any weights in the back o_O, since the back has no weight what so ever. I should put 200 lbs in the back to put some grip on the tires O_O

I always thought the LM-60 were awesome snow tires & rain too! Firestone suggest using front & rear snow tires.....not just the rears.

i have lm-25 on the front 225-18's and lm-60s on the rear 245-18's but it seemed really squirreley while driving in the rain.

I'm back and forth between Columbus and Tipp City (north of Dayton). I wish I saw more Z's, especially 370's!

erkthejerk73 12-12-2011 02:47 PM

looks nice empire!

lochness 12-14-2011 03:10 PM

Today is a sad day; I decided to warehouse the Z and I won't be driving it until spring time. But it will allow me to get vinyl on the roof, have the brakes powder coated, install a Gen 3 and some spacers.

More power to the Z drivers rocking snow shoes this season.

Is that easton by any chance :D lol, and oh... for the weights erk, I'm going to try it today, since there's hardly anything in the back, I'm thinking about putting 50lbs in the back to actually push the tires down to get some traction... I have both for the front and back blizzaks lm-60

erkthejerk73 12-18-2011 05:03 PM

im going to be adding some weight back there too with a STS turbo kit... :)

Black Z in Middleburg Hts

Im up for a meet sometimes next year. I feel lonely but I like that. Seen a cute women in a blue 350 in Middleburg Hts and a Black 350 came up to me on I-90 on a Saturday in the Summer then sped away with a thumbs up. That was nice. :shakes head:

dpirch531 12-19-2011 04:11 PM

Hey everyone. I'll be coming back to the Cleveland area on leave from Ft. Bragg. I know I shouldn't be driving the Z around during the snow season but I'm going to risk driving her. I checked the weather and it looks like their is a slight chance of snow while I'll be home. Is any meets or get together's happening from 22 DEC-1 Jan? Everyone probably put their car away for the winter. haha

Mid Ohio

Hey, maybe next year a meet and greet in Mid Ohio. My Z's asleep also for winter.

erkthejerk73 12-21-2011 08:15 AM

what are your winter vehicles that you all drive when you put your balls away for the winter?

lochness 12-21-2011 10:45 AM

I'm in Columbus as well. Since my balls are packed safely away I'm driving my Maxima during the winter. Can't complain, heated everything and satellite radio makes for an easy commute.
