You'd be surprised, man. Look at Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, Billionaires... but were mostly frugal with their money.

I know that. I'm just saying that you complain a lot about gas for someone who only drives sports cars. I'm surprised you don't have a prius :bowrofl:

Dude, because sports cars are fun to drive, but with prices the way they are, I've cut down a lot on the leisurely driving.. if that makes sense. I've always hated wasteing money, I've always been that way.

eastwest2300 08-22-2012 12:20 PM

You can't just buy a whole impractical 2nd sports car and then complain about gas prices, that's completely hypocritical. You would have been better off with one practical car for DD and one sports car for fun time on the nights/weekends. That would have been the way to not waste money :stirthepot:

I couldnt agree with you more BUT the S2000, is sooo much better on gas than the Z...hands down.

eastwest2300 08-22-2012 12:39 PM

Thats the reason why theres only 4500 miles on the Z

S2K mileage is pretty crappy compared to other 4 cylinders.
You knew what you were getting into when you got the Z... its not like they hid the EPA numbers from you...

You know what's even better on gas than the S2K? A Prius! That thing gets like 50 mpg.

My Altima gets 40mpg on an old fashioned 4 cylinder. Hybrids can go to hell.

Him complaining about gas prices. I have no problem with someone driving only fun sporty cars (I do the same), but makes no sense to complain about gas cost so much if you do.

Masa 08-22-2012 01:10 PM

Nothing at all is wrong with it at all but...

- You purposely chose to buy/drive a sports cars
- Start complaining about gas mileage and wasting money
- Yet keep on buying parts, not to mention another sports car

Contradicting yourself over and over gets old. This is why everyone trolls Damien. Not because of what he buys, or how/what he chooses do with what he buys.

Its like someone complaining about constant asthma attacks and difficulty breathing yet he smokes a pack of cigs a day.

Ok....so lets look at all the mods I've done. Hmm, Exhaust, MAF tubes, Filters, Springs, & Camber arms. Thats what? a little over $1000 in parts, last time I checked, I didnt do a bodykit, or coilovers, or forced induction systems.. so compared to a lot of other people, I really havent spent all that much on my car..

eastwest2300 08-22-2012 01:25 PM

Hell, I've spent more money on Nismo than on my car...

We're not comparing you to other people. Also don't forget the 2 sets of wheels that you bought. It's not so much buying the mods that's the issue, but buying them with no intent on ever installing them. If you're not gonna install them, why buy them in the first place. I mean you bought an entire car before you got tires for the first set of wheels you bought because you said tires were expensive. They might be, but still not as much as an entire second car.

I just don't see why it matters. It's his money, his priorities. :ugh2:

eastwest2300 08-22-2012 01:33 PM

Second car is paid off too, 2 months time...:bowrofl::bowrofl: and my attitude about the parts is, when they get installed, they get installed, there isnt a rush to get it done.. I dont drive the car enough to worry about it. Thats just my attitude.. Its not a big deal, for yall, it is...me...its not.
