Is this apply for automatic or manual transmission?

Transmission doesn't matter. If your car has the steering lock (09' to early 11') then you are at risk of it failing. Even the latest rev. D locks have been reported to fail by some forum members.

I'm just gonna pull it, you guys have my scared. Anyone wanna trade a brand new steering wheel lock for some Gen 3's? :D

One of my neighbors I just met last night got a White Subaru BRZ. I really like how that car looks. The first thing the guy said though was its way under powered. He mentioned another guy in the neighborhood had a blue z as well but had a kid and had to get rid of it.

One of my coworkers is thinking about picking up a 2009 GT-R with 16k miles on it. I'm hellajealous.

I don't believe they are replacing them unless they fail.

This pose a serious safety issue if the steering wheels lock and fail. There no recall on this?
