About that, I did and only sites I've came across looked really sketchy and I generally do not like buying anything off ebay, it just has that "stigma". Where did you purchase yours from and was it like a special order part from japan? I can't afford to wait weeks lol.

It was a long time ago and I don't remember exactly where I ordered'em. I think it might be the upgrademotoring one...simply because it looked the most legit.

Just make sure you know which one and what size you're buying.

Volk Racing Formula Lugs is what you want...scroll down on the first link.

The second link I'm not positive on...but the product is correct and the price is in the right range. I'd probably use the first link though.

look on eBay, and amazon..

Yeah they're a little pricey...but cheaper than new wheels.

eastwest2300 09-27-2013 07:31 PM

brother, you're sooo right..

Voice59 09-27-2013 09:01 PM

yeah, I learned the hard way with my other car. and then a neighbor told me that people were lifting my car cover and looking at my wheels. I said ok...and put 2 wheel locks on every lug. LOL

Tribalpinoy91 09-27-2013 09:30 PM

2 wheel locks? Why not put all 20 of the volk lugs on

All 20 ARE on. But it's 2 a piece.

dmhenderson 09-27-2013 09:56 PM

Wondering if I shouldn't just sell my wheels and buy something more suited to FI. Problem is I have 1k into the wheels in powder alone.

Voice59 09-27-2013 10:11 PM

More suited meaning wider?

dmhenderson 09-27-2013 10:19 PM

Yes, wider.

Voice59 09-27-2013 10:32 PM

You might just have to take that as a loss. Sell'em..maybe bump the price up by 350 for the powdercoat. But I mean... if you bought a GTM kit what's a little loss in cash to put the power to the pavement.

dmhenderson 09-28-2013 07:34 AM

Already used that excuse to upgrade to ART pipes and GT-R spark plugs. Wheels will have to wait (at least for now).

eastwest2300 09-28-2013 09:07 AM

Tribalpinoy91 09-28-2013 09:31 AM

Back to topic, anyone have spares to loan?

Voice59 09-28-2013 03:40 PM

I can probably sell you my stock wheels..no tires though.

dmhenderson 09-29-2013 03:00 PM

Dropped off my spare today. 1 down, 1 to go.

MyKindaGuise 09-29-2013 06:48 PM

There is a local member sellinghis volks that would be a smart buy at that prince.

dmhenderson 09-29-2013 06:51 PM

He just needs another donut for the other rear wheel so he can tow it to a shop. It's not even sitting on blocks. Most of the weight of the car is resting on the left front rotor. Really hurt to look at.

Also unbelievable that the thieves stole his wheels less than 200 yards from a goddamned police station.

Words cannot express the moment I walked towards the car, there are actually TWO police stations within 200 yards really unbelievable.

Again, If anyone can lend spare donuts, I will gladly pay for your trip both ways and drop off your spares back to you.

Thanks everyone!

Zbrah 09-29-2013 07:13 PM

thats good looking out right there man.

Z Stig 09-29-2013 09:53 PM

Tribal,

I have a spare wheel and tire that I can loan you. I live near Dulles airport and work near Tyson's Corner. I am willing to drive a little bit to help out. Is there any way we can meet up and I can drop that off for you to use. Feel free to PM me. P.S. if the Government shuts down, I'll have more time to probably bring it all the way to you.

waaaasabi 09-29-2013 11:49 PM

Hey OP, I make the drive down to the DMV area pretty often (as in almost every weekend or so); I can lend you my winter setup (pc'd Sport Rays with Blizzaks) if you need some wheels to drive on for a bit. Let me know - I will most likely be headed down next Thursday or Friday evening.

4r3s 09-30-2013 07:41 AM

Tribal, if you're still in a jam today I can help you out with a spare. Just saw the post this morning. Shoot me a pm.

chii370 09-30-2013 07:53 AM

Omg dude, im sorry. I would jump to give u a spare but as stated before 4 isnt a good idea lol. Such is the POS world we live in, X50 on the POS factor for choosing to live in the city lol.

eastwest2300 09-30-2013 08:28 AM

From all this help, I think he should be squared away.. let us know man.

BlackZ85 10-01-2013 12:36 PM

I got 1 extra spare you can borrow, but I'm near Tyson, if u willing to come get it just message me

Tribalpinoy91 10-01-2013 08:08 PM

UPDATE: Finally was able to tow the car yesterday evening and now the hard part is over with! I want to really thank everyone who has posted or expressed concern the past week or so, It certainly is nice to know that the370z.com is not only just a place to share interest in automobiles but also a place where members are more than willing to help out a fellow enthusiast. Honestly without contributions from the community here and pulling resources together my Z would still be out there in the parking lot literally just sitting on scissor jacks that were incorrectly placed (The driver side of my Z was dropped to the ground laying on a scissor jack that fell during the process) Currently I'm in the next stage of getting underneath and figuring out all the body damage that has occurred. I'm hoping for nothing too serious (F&ckd up Rocker Panel etc etc).

A special thanks goes to dmhenderson for driving out to Baltimore and loaning his spare, also thank you to Zstig, Colonel, Voice59, Waaaasabi, 4r3s, BlackZ85 for offering their precious spares. If I forgot anyone I'm terribly sorry but I thank you too!

I look forward to future meets here in the DMV area, as soon as I can get my Z back and running! :driving:

eastwest2300 10-01-2013 08:10 PM
