Really looking forward to the proposed improvements.

Christ... what dealer was that so I know never to go there? :icon17:

I've got my recall notification to go get my steering lock swapped out, but I dunno who is a good local trusted dealer to go to... :ugh2:

As far as I know Faulkner in Harrisburg is great. Ecain18 knows like half the team or something like that. And Brenner's GTR tech is really good but I only got him to work on my car through some friendly contact crap.lol

Im not sure what dealer but its far from us. Basically they had the tranny on the car and one of the drain holes on the ground was missing its grate and the wheel of the tranny cart got caught and it tipped over. Not anything really from lack of skill just bad luck I guess. I don't know how to feel about it

Do we have an address of this dealer, won't be after ZDayZ but I'd like to get the issue resolved for peace of mind eventually. :icon17:

I dunno, that sounds like a lack of attention to detail, and wrong place/wrong time. But it would be enough to make me very hesitant about leaving my car there overnight.

Brown's Sterling Nissan replaced mine with no problems! I've also had them do other work for me... Short Shifter, SS brake lines, SS clutch lines. No issues with their service department. Service Manager used to be the lead Z mechanic for their shop until he was promoted.

If you are going to use them , let me know and I'll let them know you are coming by.

Where are they located Stig? Is that something they can do in a few hours, or will it be an overnight visit, that would be my main concern.

In Northern Virginia. Near the Ferrari dealer on Hwy 28 and Car Max. They would easily be able to do it within a couple of hours, especially if you let them know that is why you are coming in so they can have the part on hand. Mine took overnight because they had to order the part (mine "broke" before the recall came out and I had it towed in). Since he is familiar with my car, he made sure they left my car in the bay overniught versus parking it outside. PM me if you are going by and I'll get you the contact information.

Thanks guys, I'll give them both a look after ZDayZ and let either of you know which one gives me a better deal. :tiphat:
