I thought you weren't suppose to clean your car for x days when it's brand new? lol and yeah what blades said, shouldn't it have a fresh coat of wax on it from the dealer?

For the price of a clear bra, you can have the whole bumper repainted...

Sales@AAMComp 05-01-2013 10:02 AM

or maybe that's for brand new paint, not brand new car.. who knows how old the paint actually is

If it's right off the assembly line new, sure, wait a month or so. But this car was built at the end of 2012.

not if you're constantly repainting the bumper after every snow season.. in my case, being that I never drive my Z according to you guys, I shouldnt have an issue.

Well that depends on the individual person. If you're gonna have it repainted after each little rock chip then it's not worth it. If you do it after a while and having a bunch of rock chips and stuff then it's better.

Nope it's a model year 2013.

You'd be surprised what you can get off of a car with a clay bar after being transported by truck/train and sitting on a lot for a couple-few months.

Ron put me on to Dr. Color Chip and I have been using that to clean up some road rash and somewhat large chips on my front bumper. **** works like a charm!

Maybe get it fully painted one day but for now, this is the bomb-diggity!

Received my Black Cherry kit and I'll be doing that to my bumper, hood and fenders this weekend. So, it performs as advertised?

Khoi - Sorry for continuing to MAZOC the thread. I'll get back on track and say that I can't make it to your event this weekend, but I may have to try and get by your shop one of these days! Little bit of a drive for me. I live near Dulles Airport.

We plan on doing 2 this year! Another one towards the end of the season, so maybe September-ish :D
