...and your lady friend might not be as inept at learning as you think. She'll be concerned about your car, she'll err on the side of caution. If you teach her to drive manual, you will be part of who she is for the rest of her life, even if you don't stay together.

hmmmmmm still not feeling it, although renting a car, and burning up that clutch I'd consider that, come to think about it, thats actually a really good idea.
