Need a new shift knob but not sure what to get
 

Currently have the Nismo titanium/carbon shifter but after 3 years of use, the top is worn and scuffed.

Was thinking about going with the momo airleather knob:
Nissan 370Z MOMO Race Shift Knobs

Any experience with momo shifters? Any other suggestions?

love my forged shift knob!

I had the nismo chrome knob before the titanium and it gets extremely hot in the summer. Don't think I'll go that route again although I'll check out the other forged products to see what's out there.

The nismo leather one looks nice. Also a third of the price of some of the others.

Some of the other ones are a little too uh..."sparkly" for me.

Holy hell

The Tommy Kaira Hebi Bebi shift knob is the best money you could spend on any shift knob. The difference with the stock is night & day. I haven't missed any gear since; moreover, it sits lower so it kinda acts a short throw shifter.

That Tommy K is very very pricey, its very clean too.

Hebi bebi is ridiculous.

Smother shifts, it feels shorter cause its lower, the weight makes a difference

Ok well I can buy one for a mere $279.99. I'll shop around a bit I guess.
I'd have to wait a few weeks to do that and never ever tell my girlfriend how much it cost*

Any interest in my old nismo carbon/titanium shift knob? It's a little worn around the top but the nismo printing is still crystal clear and it looks nice in the car.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow morning - figured I'd offer it here before I post a FS thread in the parts forum.

Honestly, I have no idea why the top looks worn either. I don't wear a ring so it's not metal on metal scuffing. I wouldn't think my hands are enough to scuff it up but who knows. Might be able to be buffed out now that I think about it.

Edit: lol I just suggested that you buff my knob.

TK knob purchased. The sales rep tells me that pretty much the entire Japanese automotive industry is shut down for Salon for the next two weeks. Quoting 1-3 months for delivery. God bless JDM.

Yeah I did look at those. There was a guy selling the piston model in the FS forum.

I went with the TK knob though. General consensus seems to be that it's worth it.
