What’s up with Form > Function in our logo?

Just like it says we believe that Form is greater than Function. Many will argue that this is just a fad and will go away soon, but it’s more then that. As mentioned in the first paragraph, people have been doing it for decades all around the world, we’re just stepping it up and doing it on another level. Please don’t get us wrong though, we have nothing but respect for Function, and if you can pull off Form & Function at the same time you will certainly have our respect.
so yeah it's just for laughs I guess... but if you can actually find a use for it you'll get the respect of all the other guys who have done this for no reason at all.

mad respect yo.

Edit: this thread is making me laugh a lot. I had to close my office door.

Q: How many fat guys do you need to sit on the roof of your car to make the wheels look like that?

A: "A lot"

I actually like the look of Europlates on some cars. They look good on M3's.

I wonder if people in Europe run US plates so they can be 'mad tYt3 USDM y0".

Nah US plates are ugly. Europeans are too elitist for that.

I mean as silly as all of this is, I really genuinely wanted to know the answer so I don't think the thread needs to be locked.

I can't imagine it being for anything but looks and detrimental to tires and suspension parts (not to mention handling), but am also interested to find out if there is some advantage that I'm not seeing. Not that I would do it to any of my vehicles, but, if it has some desirable effect on ride/handling/&c, I'd like to find out. Inquiring minds want to know!

I can't answer your question but I know my 5 year old boy's Power Wheel rides and handles better than that :p

Absolutely none! It makes ride and handling much much worse.

Thanks. Coming from someone with so many rep points, I'll take that as a authoritative answer. ;)

NO DISRECPECT to this member for posting his car on this thread Nissan 370Z Forum - Marcin's Album: my Z :).
But I like what I see.

Cmike2780 12-03-2012 06:13 PM

No hate or disrespect, but I don't like it at all. They're nice wheels, but it's like wearing an Armani suit like a baggy pair of jeans with the waistline around your knees and your boxers showing. It's how to ruin a sports car.
