Does scotch get better with age, cause it's like 30+ years old?

FPenvy 05-07-2013 06:22 PM

I have a bottle of crown that was given to me on my 21st bday that is sealed with a sticker on it that is labeled 1980 lol 33 years old and I'm saving it for a special occasion. Idk of zdayz is it though lol

Only if it was still in the charred oak cask lol. Once it's bottled it's not really aging anymore :icon17:

In other news I am loaded up on Emergen-C and Halls Defense Vitamin C drops. Is there such a thing as too much vitamin c? :ugh2:

Nope, if your body can't absorb it, it will expel the excess out your "cigar".

Get some zinc, too, if you're warding off a cold.

m4a1mustang 05-08-2013 06:34 AM

Zinc. Got it.

shadoquad 05-08-2013 06:34 AM

Also good for preventing colds? I've heard that "giving Al moneys" keeps the doctor away!

Get lozenges - Zicam, Cold-Eeze, or just plain old zinc lozenges if you can find them. I think you need the slower absorption.

shadoquad 05-08-2013 06:46 AM

Back in the day, I used to do zinc lozenges. They work well.

Haha I used to take zinc constantly when I was younger. Really does help.

Z Stig 05-08-2013 08:22 AM

Do you know the range on them? If they have a 10 mile range you should be fine, especially down at Fontana.

they are a couple years old and have no markings on range indication on them. i'm just gonna look up the product number later and see what i find. i'm sure they are at least 10 miles.

The main concern is if people get hung up at lights or turns while on the cruises and being able to stay in radio contact. Check on the range good sir :tiphat:

I've got a spare radio in case yours don't have enough range. You'll just have to return it after the cruises so I can charge it up each night.

Anyone with KW V3's going to be at Zdayz? I would like to get a ride and see how smooth they are compared to my swifts. I love my springs but would like to go 1/2 inch lower up front and an inch lower out back.

I packed the Z to go out of town for my 10th anniversary, suitcase in the trunk and my wife and daughter in the seats. It looked perfect, then on the drive there and back me and the wife up front (daughter w/Gmaw) bags in the hatch we had no problems. Even went over the stupid speed bumps in the parking garage at the hard rock with no issues.

I was like "Hells yeah take that speed bumps!"
