Need An Excellent Car Alarm Installer

Hey fellas,

I got a new Viper 791XV car alarm I've had sitting around for quite some time, I would like to have it installed in my Honda S2000.

I also just recently purchased a Viper 5704 I'd like to install in my Z.

Anyone know of an installer that does excellent work in the DC/Baltimore area?

Any help would be well appreciated. Thanks guys.

Will these be installed before or after all the other items you need to have installed?

I keed...I keed.

Why not have everything installed at once? I bet a body shop could install an alarm. Just a thought.

Kartunes in Sterling does that sort of thing and is highly reviewed.

Also the audio shop attached to automotive essentials in rockville does good work iirc.

I'd like to find someone that does work on the side... preferably. But if these shops are reasonable in their price, I'll check them out.. thanks fellas.

Kartunes bills at $100 per-hour which is super reasonable.

Car alarms can easily take 3 or 4 hours.. so thats kinda pricey.

I'm paying them to fix my f'ing electrical system next weekend after I get the headlight buffed at D&V

whats wrong with your electrical system?

smart key system randomly stops working, then starts again, then stops. Seems to have something to do with the temperature outside (what).

Guessing it has to do with where I located the steering wheel control module/ran wires etc.

Also getting static and cut-out in my left door speaker & tweeter but ONLY when the XM module is hooked up.

I drew them a crude wiring diagram and told them what I wanted done and they're going to relocate stuff for me. I could do it myself but I'd get pissed and it'd take way too much time so I'm going to have a pro diagnose and relocate rather than ******* around with the "trial and error" method.

The dealership and another custom audio shop couldn't figure out what the hell I did. Figured it out talking to Bigaudionate or whatever his name is here on the forums just bs'ing back and forth about what it might be and a lightbulb went off. Temperature = expansion/contraction of wires blah blah.

I know what needs to be done, it's just a huge pain in the ***. I hate taking the dash off that car. I hate taking the console out and trying to shove crap into the limited space available and I don't want to foul anything else up so I'm just going to pay them a couple hundred bucks and be done with it.

Yeah, paying someone to do it, is always the easiest way out. No need to stress it then. Good luck bro. Hopefully they'll get you taken care of.
