FML. Got condensation in one of my headlights and of course it's the one that isn't messed up. Probably because I was either rushing through it or pulled it out early.

YOU PULLED OUT EARLYYYYYYYY. Whatttttt?:eek::eek: :icon17:

Sorry about condensation issue bro.

I think I might be able to get it fixed without taking the whole light apart. Should just be able to heat up the sealant that's on there now, then press the lights together some more and just add more sealant. This makes sense right?

Dee or Mark, do you have any of that rubber butyl sealant left or should I order more? Shouldn't need much, provably just have to add more in certain spots.

That one went right over your head didn't it !! Lol

No I was just too worried about what to do with my headlight. Gonna re-seal it whenever I get back to Bobo's garage to work on my car.

You were the one rushing me! Also, we had to beat that storm and we just barely made it. Most importantly though, I didn't want to melt it like the other one.

Because I was still trying to figure everything out. I was doing it for the first time and not the second like Mark. Also it took longer because I had to decide about the color for the shroud and then go to the store to get paint, so I got even further behind.

dmhenderson 09-29-2012 09:28 AM

Yeah I have an untouched tube. You're welcome to it.

Edit: but you're going to have to come get it.

I saw a car more ridiculous than that mustang today. It was a grey honda civic (or maybe an accord) covered in a decal kit and printed on the side of the car in huge script lettering it said, "FAST AND FURIOUS". I tried to snap a picture but he was crossing the intersection in front of me and I wasn't fast enough.

He was...too fast (and too furious)
