Mike is shipping me his core swap calipers next week and I'm sending him mine to get powder coated. Might even be able to get it them done before the meet on the 15th.

Nice..I may even go pick up that caulk gun and a tube of that rubber butyl today.

dmhenderson 08-24-2012 01:54 PM

Will one tube be enough you think? I mean we can always run out and get more if it's not I guess since you can just buy it at Lowes or w/e

eastwest2300 08-24-2012 02:04 PM

Ohh no no, we're gonna need a lot more than one tube, hell I might use an entire tube by myself.. haha

dmhenderson 08-24-2012 02:06 PM

Could you grab like 3-4 of them? If you need cash we can always pay you back at the meet.

Yeah, I could do that, it depends on how much that sh1t is, hopefully its not too terribly expensive.

From what I saw on Amazon it was $10 per tube and found some with free shipping. Let us know if you find it

Reading the DIY thread we are going to have to REBAKE each set of headlights once the paint is dry and then silicone seal them.

eastwest2300 08-26-2012 04:38 PM

Yup... its pretty easy, and straight forward.

The rebaking is for if you're reusing the factory sealant.
