Man, lets knock out these cars, no need to wait for a month and contemplate this and that, lets get it done.

No one is saying that it can't be done. We're just trying to be realistic about the amount of time it will take. One thing I've learned about working on your own car is, especially if you're doing something for the first time, it will take about 2 or 3 times as long as you think it will. Something will go wrong or you will forget to do/bring something or something will be a lot harder than you thought it was going to be. You have to plan for this ahead of time. You don't want to have 7 people stuck at your house with their cars taken apart and they can't leave because if it. I understand that you're excited about this but you don't want to be rushing through it to try and get everyone finished in time. That's were you will make a mistake and someone's headlight might get ruined.

Also, I can't do the 25th because I have this family thing I have to go to. If you want time do this on your own whenever you get a day off, then go ahead. You'd be able to help us all out more if you did this.

I can't do anything in August. Please don't do it then. I have a family thing followed by a work retreat I can't get out of.

eastwest2300 08-11-2012 03:01 PM

No, we're not changing the date.. dont worry about that, its just the whole idea of this process breaking it up into a day event.

dmhenderson 08-11-2012 05:42 PM

Yeah I'm fine with a 2 day thing and will commit to both but I can't promise I'll bring food to both. *Flat out guarantee I'll have alcohol on me regardless.

eastwest2300 08-11-2012 06:38 PM

hahaha.. dude, food and alcohol we wont sweat that, we're on mission to get this job done and do it right.
