In case anyone misses it

http://www.the370z.com/mid-atlantic-...-aam-meet.html

We are planning to cruise to dinner after this meet :D AAM Guys are invited to join us if they want. If interested, cast your vote for whether we just do a cruise over for dinner/drinks at Ram's Head, or if we do some twisty roads and end up at Arundel Mills.

Adam@AAMComp 06-19-2012 08:26 AM

I am sure myself and Jon will try to make it to the dinner after the cruise.

You could always pull an eastwest and do the oil change yourself outside in their parking lot :roflpuke2:

Meh, I don't have the tools necessary for one, or I would have myself. Plus not really sure the amount needed with the 34 row OC added to the total normal oil amount. Plus I'd like to get redline oil and not sure where I can pick that up here.

Not to mention the debate on the right brand of oil filter is so

I trust a shops opinion.

People debate about oil and filters on this site? That's news to me! :stirthepot:

The only tools you really need are a socket wrench set, a jack, and some jack stands. From what Rob told me it's about 8 qts of oil with a 34 row OC. Not sure about where to pick up redline oil in person, so you might have to order that online.

Adam@AAMComp 06-19-2012 08:57 AM

Out of sight out of mind. I didn't see a thing if you do it in the parking lot :D haha

What I don't have.

Also, I'll need a tune after the oil change, can we set that up too?

Possible for someone to post this up on 6 Speed Online? I am not a supporting forum sponsor yet but working on it. Cross post to other forums also. I would LOVE to see this huge parking lot PACKED.

Thanks for the offer, but I would prefer not to do it in a parking lot. Abby's slutty enough already. :rofl2: :bowrofl:

I'm interested in knowing more, but I'm unable to tell WHAT this event is. When I google it, the main site STILL doesn't tell me much about the event.

It's basically an open house at AAM Competitions shop. We all park in the lot behind the shop and hang out. They feed us and give us a shop tour. It's pretty fun.

It is a fun event but there's no way I would drive from Fredericksburg to attend it. If I were you I would consider going to our bbq, it's just south of DC so it would be a reasonable drive for you. http://www.the370z.com/mid-atlantic-...ml#post1757313

Will be nice to finally meet you in person after only spotting you on 95 over the past year and a half :roflpuke2:

Anybody want a free plasti dip washer? I bought one for my wheels, but I took the plasti dip off them so it's of no use to me any more. I only used it once. I can bring it to the AAM meet if anyone wants it.

Car goes in the shop today and don't know if I'll have it back in time. Might be out for this one now.

2theextreme 07-17-2012 05:32 AM

Any of the NOVA guys want to meet up and head up to AAM together?

RandyD 07-17-2012 07:20 AM

the last discussion was to meet in Great Falls for the morning cars and coffee - then head over.

b1adesofcha0s 07-17-2012 07:40 AM

Damn looks like everyone is dropping out of this one :icon17:

3 people != everyone

Crux 07-17-2012 07:55 AM

I'm definitely going to be there. AAM is less than 10 min from my place, and it's an excuse to wash and wax the Z again:happydance:

As I've learned from planning meets in the past, when one person drops out it usually snowballs into a bunch of people dropping out, especially if Steve is one of them. Seemed like he was just waiting for someone else to drop out before he said the same thing 2 mins later :bowrofl:

I still plan on heading to Katie's C&C around 6:30-7am, then roll up to AAM with whoever wants to join.
