3M Clear Bra Kit, Killer Deal, act FAST!

Ok fellas, here's the deal, I got ahold of a dealer that sells the 3M clear bra kits on eBay, for the 370Z. Normal price for the kit minus the headlight protection (an additional $30) is $215 plus $15 for shipping.

The I contacted the seller today and asked him if he'd cut me a deal, if I and a friend were to buy a kit, he gave me a price of $195 shipped for everything including the headlight protection, and the applicator.

Please contact me immediately if you're interested, Im looking for someone else to jump on this deal with me so we can get the kit for $195.

Must have Paypal!

Tony, this kit is for the base or the sport Z, unfortunately. Im not sure what the front end of the amuse kit looks like. The install doesnt look that hard, i've seen videos online on how its done.

I'd say its pretty much like tinting windows, I've done window tint in the past at shop down in FL, and I plan on doing this install myself.

That sound too cheap, anyone that have got it done will tell you that.

Then you have to pay about $100 to get done right. That if you find someone willing to do it.

Are you going to have 5 yrs of warranty against any defect or yellowing. Now if the cut is not right you are screw. I already went thru that, So NO thanks!

You get for what you pay! :ugh2:

Yeah there is a 5 year warranty on it, dude.. let me tell you, the biggest cost you're paying for when you do a clear bra application is the labor itself, the material isnt that expensive, ask a shop that does it, they'll tell you.

I guess, Im willing to take that chance.

Actually the local tint shop charges 125 to install it. I have had stone chips and cuts in it before and they charged 40 to take it completely off.

How exactly are you going to have a warranty off of ebay with this??? Peel it off yourself with part of your paint and send it back to the seller (who wouldn't take it back like that) or in to 3M rolled up in a ball? have fun with that.

You need to think things through thoroughly in life, don't be penny wise and pound foolish...

p.s. $500 to $800 to install??? Really??? You need to come up with better more articulated attempts at insult lines kid :eekdance:

This local tint shop, where? I'd like to call them, and find out if they really install it for $125, not saying that I dont believe you, but I'd like to find out, because that sounds like a good deal, but wait I might be falling into my pennywise and pound foolish state of mind, as you put it...:bowrofl::bowrofl:

And when I said, have fun getting it done for $600 to $800, that meant the entire job, focus on getting it done. Just wanted to clarify that for you.

No insults here.:hello:

FWIW I got a quote for 3M clear bra for the full front bumper and my front lip for $450 and this is from a guy who works on a lot of exotic cars. That's for the material + labor. I changed my mind about getting a clear bra and decided to use that money for something else.

eastwest2300 05-16-2012 11:52 AM

Thats an excellent price.

Yeah and the work is excellent too. He's the guy who did the clear bra for Lou's GT-R.

eastwest2300 05-16-2012 01:09 PM

Well post up his information.

b1adesofcha0s 05-16-2012 01:34 PM

All I have is his name and a phone number and I don't think I should really post it up. I'll text it to you if you want. If anyone else is interested, I can PM his info to you.

eastwest2300 05-16-2012 05:06 PM

Let me get the kit first then, we'll go from there. thanks blades
