Spoiler installation ..

Hey guys, I just bought the replica amuse spoiler. How much am I looking at to get it installed?

tjlazer 04-14-2012 10:38 AM

$200-$600 depending on prep/paint and shop.

PapoZalsa 04-14-2012 05:49 PM

I would say that a good job will be close to $600.

So, anyone know a good/cheap shop that can do the job? Paint can't be that expensive

Let me know where you get this done and the price/quality of the job. I need to get the stock spoiler removed and wing added as well.

Paint can be VERY expensive. Back home in RI I have helped a friend a couple time paint his cars. Depending on color and company it ranges from 150 a gallon to over a grand a gallon. We did a real nice blue on his Talon from DuPont it was 750 bucks just for a gallon of color then you have to add in primer, sealer, sanding cuff, clear coat and so on. Good and cheap should never be used in the same sentence when it comes to body work or really anything automotive performance related. It is a science and art all built into one. Best best is to really research it out and see what kind of work they have done in the past. I am new to the area so I can not be much help with recommending a shop.

I'm paying $580 to have my spoiler painted and installed.
