7:30am? good luck getting half of these guys to get up that early, considering our meets start at the earliest 10am LOL. Sounds like a good time though.

There's an exotic car meet that early in Great Falls, VA every sat. GM_Traitor goes to it.

Yeah, I figured as much but thought it would at least give some of us Northern MD / Southern PA folks a nice alternative to the Saturdays that the Fairfax meets occur.

The weather held off and they actually had a decent turnout (although only about half of the cars that were expected actually showed up). Met alot of really nice folks. Below are a few photos that I took from the event.

Need some more Zs to show up next time. Andrew (4r3s) and I were the only Zs out there.

Daaaaaamn nice cars. Im liking the Viper and the Lambo.

4r3s 04-01-2012 01:57 PM

This is definitely a meet worth getting up early for. With predicted crappy weather a lot of really cool toys still made a showing, can't wait till real nice weather comes and we get to see what else has been hiding in some local garages!

ahhhh you're probably right, my mistake... dude, this event happens every weekend?

ZOLE 04-01-2012 06:06 PM

Yes the event will be every Saturday rain or shine. The exceptions are holidays, natural disasters and such.

I plan on going on my free Saturdays that we don't have our Columbia meets since Hunt Valley is only 15-20 mins from my house.

ZOLE 03-29-2013 08:04 AM

Hey guys long time no see. Between the new baby and the winter weather it's been tough to make the Columbia meets. Just wanted to let you know that the Hunt Valley Cars and Coffee (newly renamed Hunt Valley Horsepower) is having their one year anniversary tomorrow morning 8:00am-10:00am.

Would love to see some more 370's show up (I'm usually the only one). As of right now there are about 600 confirmed people showing up. It's going to be pretty crazy! Lots of great cars to see and people to meet.

Well I don't think it's going to be quite that warm that early in the morning. Will probably be 40's but mostly sunny though. Should be a really good time. Usually is, even when it's only 10-20 of us that show up.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. Yes everything is going well and baby is doing great. Yes it is pretty difficult getting any kind of sleep at the moment but I hear it will get better.

When the weather starts warming up, I'll be going to the Columbia meets more often.

I hear ya. This meet would be good for anyone living in the North Balt. Co. and York, PA areas since it's easy access from I-83. I like that it's early enough that I can attend and then shoot on down to our bi-weekly Columbia meets.

Won't be doing that tomorrow though, but possibly the next one.

Man, by the time I wake up, its 10ish, and tomorrow they're having hamburgers at Chantilly Nissan, soo its looking like the fairfax meet, but then again Im pretty spontaneous, I might just wake up and do this one.. Im conflicted.:icon17:

My40thZ 03-29-2013 08:58 AM

If I was home in md I would so be there. Have fun!

Bondfire 03-29-2013 11:59 AM

Ill be there, what's the count so far? We should try to park together. If we know a count I can talk with the organizer and get a block for us. I plan to get there around 7:45

Not sure there are going to be many of us Zs there. Right now all I know of is you, me, and 4r3s attending. At last year's inaugural event Rich just had it divided by European, Japanese, American, Exotic, etc.

I'm planning on getting there sometime around 7:30, but might a bit late.
My father-in-law is following me in his '71 Baracuda. If I see your yellow Z there I'll try to park next to you.

eastwest2300 03-29-2013 01:58 PM

'71 barracuda...nice!

superchargedg 03-30-2013 01:05 PM

Was a huge turnout and some nice cars.

Hey all. This is a repost from another forum. Hunt Valley Horsepower (formerly Hunt Valley Cars & Coffee) will be having another big meet June 1st to celebrate the arrival of summer. If it's anything like the 1 year anniversary was, this will definitely be a meet for car enthusiasts that you won't want to miss.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a79...ps4d9c374b.jpg
Celebrate the arrival of summer with Hunt Valley Horsepower! Winter tires…out. Summer tires…in. Snow and ice…out. Warm sun…in. Its time to roll down the windows and cruise to Hunt Valley!

Many of you were there for our One-Year Anniversary on Saturday, March 30. 850 show cars from all marques and all generations came together in celebration of our automotive enthusiast community in a family-friendly environment.

If you missed the CarBuzz.com coverage of the One-Year Anniversary, you can see it right HERE.

Our region has formed a very special automotive enthusiast community. Many folks have commented that they have never seen such diversity in automobiles combined with equal diversity in people. All generations of cars…and people. We all come together for the common love of cars and the respect for our growing community. Invite your car club. Invite your friends. Bring the family!

Date & Time - Saturday, June 1 from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (Show cars can enter the coned area starting at 6:30 a.m. Arrive early!)

Location - Hunt Valley Towne Centre - I-83 to Exit 20A (Shawan Road East); ½-mile on the left (when on the property, make a right at the T and you’ll see Joe’s Crab Shack)

Parking - Show and spectator vehicles enter from Shawan Road. If you are trailering a vehicle, please enter from York Road. (A parking map will be posted closer to the special event date.)

Automobiles - If you car, truck or SUV is your passion, you're invited. All marques and all generations are invited to participate. You'll see classic, luxury, exotic and race cars and many classifications in between.

Admission - Free for show cars and spectators! Donations to help cover administrative costs are encouraged. Donations can be made at the drop box located at the food service area in the center of the gathering.

Register - If you use Facebook, please note your attendance plans HERE. Registration is not required but it helps provide attendance expectations for planning purposes.

Food & Drink - Caribou Coffee, Panera, Chick-fil-A and Wegmans will be open and there will be food and drink sales within our gathering area.

Rain or Shine? - If Hunt Valley is experiencing inclement weather (steady rain, thunderstorms, etc.), the rain date is Saturday, June 8.

Spread the word! See you on June 1 at Hunt Valley Horsepower!

Rich “Will” Williams

P.S.
June 1 will be the release date of our new home – horsepowering.com. Bookmark it for future use!
