body shops that black out fangs and rear exhaust area in NoVa?

Anyone know of a good body shop in the NoVa area?

I'm looking to black out the fangs and the rear area around the fog light/exhausts. Also anyone have an idea on the price range of such paint jobs?

I think most people here would say that D&V Autobody does some amazing work, but they are on the pricey side.

This place looks pretty good, I can probably get that annoying ding fixed too... I guess the tricky part will be getting home if I drop my car off that far out...

You can plastidip in your parking space.

Over 9000!

Masa 03-01-2012 12:30 PM

Two cans will be more than enough, you cold honestly probably get by with one can. Four layers on fangs and valance is enough.

lingling1211 03-01-2012 12:46 PM

After looking at the forums I might do my emblems and door handles too... so I guess I'll get 3 for good measure hehe

b1adesofcha0s 03-01-2012 12:57 PM

I did my fangs with 3 coats of plasti dip and only used up half a can.

Masa 03-01-2012 12:59 PM

Here's some pic whoreage of plastidip.

On the last pic I originally plastdip'd the inside of my rear badge but I liked it so much that I just permanently did it with flat black paint along with debadge. Gives a nice contrast.

D&V color matched my door handles and installed them for me for $120. They did good work for me and I didn't feel like that was expensive. pics are in my album. had it done over a year ago and there has been no fading or chipping. I am a happy customer.

oh I should add I bought a second set of door handles sent them to D&V and they did the work and called me when it was done. I just sold my original unpainted door handles on the forum. End of the day I think I paid $150 for the entire ordeal.

Plastidip, even if you mess it up, you can always pull it off, so dont stress it. have fun with it.
