Bro, I wish I could help ya, but Im definitely NOT that mechanically inclined.

Coilovers are actually a pretty easy install. No spring compressors needed...

About a 3 hour job.

If you arent mechanically inclined, I can recommend a good shop in the nova area. But its about 45 minutes from falls church. They installed my springs. But what is "a load of money" to you? Let me know if you're interested.

They're charging $500 to just install them

That's Crazy

It shouldn't take a shop more than 2- 2 1/2 hours I had a guy quote me $300 and I thought he was crazy. I waited for a warmer day and had them on in less than 3 hours that's with adjusting them. I do suggest you get an alignment as soon as they settle in (less than 100 miles)

Coilovers are a really easy mod to do yourself, as long as you are minimally mechanically inclined.

I do suggest bringing them to a shop before an alignment to make sure they are adjusted properly. There is actually a science behind setting them up!

Check youtube, I bet theres a video on how to do them yourself, maybe even for Z... you never know, just an option.

I know this guy :icon17: He a good friend of mine for 10 years, we met up occasionally for coffee and chat about coilover install and talk for hours about 370Z about nearly anything except for turbocharged topics. He a great guy.
I tried to recommend him go to PTUNING but he looking for someone to install in affordable price. Might as well, me and BlackZ85 will probably install next month. Hopefully convince him to go to FFX Starbucks meet :stirthepot:
