Go-to for Tires?

Just curious if there's a local go-to for tires? I've typically purchased from Discount Tire, but maybe there's a nearby shop that has competitive prices and the right selection?

Discount Tire or Tire Rack are the best places.

dozerdc 02-19-2012 04:28 PM

Yeah...wish there was someone local that was reliable & matched those prices. Ah well.

Discount Tire offers free shipping and will match any price you find.

Plus they have local dealers that will give you a discount for mounting when you show them you either bought from them and/or Tire Rack.

However, make sure they have the appropiate machine so they don't mess your rims.

Yeah, TireRack is a good place to find tires, and rims.

Yeah... I seem to recall a set of new wheels being purchased by you some time ago. Wondering if we will ever be graced enough to be in their presence. :stirthepot:

m4a1mustang 02-24-2012 11:26 AM

eastwest2300 02-24-2012 11:29 AM

Will do sir, thanks brother.

Tire rack will ship the tires to the shop you want to have them installed at as well. Pretty nice since fitting 4 tires in a z doesn't work so easily.

I was thinking the same when I open my trunk and said "what if I put one in the spare trunk, 2 in the top trunk, one in the passenger seat. :p
