Also Im thinking my exhaust rattle is more serious that I thought before...I will know Saturday. But it sounds like something is trapped up in the top left canister in my Ark. Also I may be trading in my H1C turbo for a larger and newer HX40http://www.stcf.net/viggen/Holset/images/022.jpg |
Mmmmm terbo partz :yum:
|
Thats a big boy turbo...

I know someone running that exact turbo on a 2.3l motor and he makes max boost at 3.5k rpms...so our big flow VQ37s should spool this thing up so nicely. Everyone coming to Carlisle def gets to come on a ride along haha. |
thats whats up duuude... now whats up with those brakes??

25-row is good enough for a long time, should you ever decide to track the car. |

I felt almost no change at all, other than peace of mind at the track is all. I went with the Goodridge lines because I didn't have to pay a cent for them :). I won them in a competition Stillen ran while I was in Iraq, 2 years ago almost. I'd never complain about free SS lines, but I certainly won't tell you that they made a dramatic difference - they didn't. Don't be fooled in thinking that they will, either. |
That reminds me, we still need to bleed my brakes again once the weather gets warm......that and re-doing my headlights :p

Main reason people push them is because of older, worn out rubber lines on older cars. They can be stretched out over time, eventually getting to the point where your brake-feel isn't nearly as solid anymore. Especially when racing at the track, SS lines are great peace of mind in that you know they wont burst at the end of a 130-140 MPH straight, and put you right into the wall when you hit your brakes. |

I was thinking about getting SS lines, but decided not to after Rob said they weren't necessary.

Sooo fellas, I just got done ripping my entire trunk including my tail lights, and I just finished up GTmat'n the entire back. I'll post pics.
|
Hey Blades, Im having a shop do mine (tail lights), the painter is a friend of mine, he's done a ton of work for me, on the eclipse, and the motorcycle that I had. He is the man.
|
Yeah today would have been a good day for that but the car is at D&V
|
Today was the perfect day to GTmat the car, and I got the entire back done...with no waste.
