It does feel fast when you get it on some back roads. It's quite a visceral experience with far more feedback than the Z and other cars. It's small, low, light, very responsive, etc.

But it really isn't fast in a straight line. On a good day a good driver might trap 100-101 mph. By comparison I should be 116-117 with my new tune on the 5.0. That's a huge difference!

Still, S2K is the most fun car I've owned.

With the exhaust/cats/tune I'm having a ball flooring it and laughing like a moron while I get pinned to my seat and it makes "that noise"

I'm probably the biggest s2k fanboy on the planet. I love the car, and it has a lot of positive traits. It has great dynamics, fantastic interior, solid seats, a solid frame with a drop top, a great aftermarket and a good community...but it is about on par with a Honda accord in a straight line.

This may be true, but Steve & I love the car, and to me, I think its a pretty quick car. Maybe its from all the maintenance I've done on it. Laser Spark plugs, the Injen CAI, & Mobil 1.. you cant beat it.:icon17: :roflpuke2:
