those g35 rims aren't worth anywhere near $1200. They're also skinnier than the stockers.

Even with new tires?

I was gonna say that if you get yours repaired and they look fine, I would trade with you, but I don't want to run the risk of you having wasted your money if I don't like how they turn out.

I like the Nismo wheels too, but they cost twice as much as the sport wheels and definitely too much for me right now.

The problem is that I can't throw down that kind of cash right now, so I would need to swap instead of buying them separately and then selling. I don't know how long it would take to sell them either. Once school is over I'm gonna post this up in the classified section and expand my search area to places between here and NY. I was planning a trip there anyway so I could get them on my way there.

Yeah I'm hoping there's someone else out here that's like you, but with wheels in better condition :)

The only thing I'm worried about with the whole powder coating thing is I don't know how well they will be able to fix the rash. I'm afraid to take this risk and have it not look as good as I had hoped.

powder coating will remove all scratches and rash as long as they aren't deep gouges (Which most aren't.. i'm talking 1/2" deep). I used ASCO in Manassas (google them)... they sandblast the wheels and powedercoat them... awesome job.

If you are going to powder coat them anyway, just buy rashed ones. It won't matter. They coated my nismo wheels in about 3 days for $500ish. Ton of color options too.. I went with 30% black.

Yeah, but Brian's had some pretty deep gouges from when I saw them, which is why I'm worried that they might not come out perfect after being repaired. I have no plans to power coat them.
