:p What oil cooler are you going with man? Will you take it off when having maintenance work at the dealership?

I'm thinking Z1. I'm probably going to wait one more oil change, just to make sure there aren't any OC issues.

I'm not really concerned about warranty things related to the cooler, as long as my car hasn't started consuming oil. Most of the issues that crop up are unrelated to the cooler.

On a related note, how intense would you say this cruise is?

No risk of over heating on this cruise, we all follow Shado...
And we know Black Cherry is the slowest color.. :stirthepot:

:iagree:

I look forward to driving on that no speed limit road. Can you give me the location on Google maps? :p

My oil temp didn't go over 240. We get some breaks in between the intense driving, which gives some time for the oil to cool down a bit.

So like 5/10? 7/10? 110/10?

This cruise is not tooooo intense. Most of York Road is straight, with a possibility of slow traffic ahead. There are a few spots to whoop it up.

Loch Raven is really the intense section, and that only lasts for a few short minutes.

But wait until we do "Big Al's Big Dam Cruise" in coming months. Pretty Boy Reservoir is F*CKING intense. :roflpuke2:

It is what you make of it. If you stay with the pack and respect all laws its an enjoyable drive with some good scenery. If you fall behind at a redlight and have to catch up to the rest of the guys....:driving:

OK, I'm just trying to figure out who I can allow to come along. I'm a wimp on public roads, but I know some other guys aren't.

ZCarMan 04-06-2011 04:08 PM

Well looks like I'm out for this cruise as well. I'm going to have my camber kit installed on Saturday. At some point I'll make it though. Someone take video!

So I guess we're still on for tomorrow? Meet @ Starbucks 10:00 right? Looks like the rain is going to hold off. Sounds like 4r3s is not going to make it.

b1adesofcha0s 04-08-2011 04:03 PM

We should have a backup plan in case it's raining or the roads are still wet. I say we downgrade to a regular MD meet at Dobbin.

shadoquad 04-08-2011 04:28 PM

I'll be at Hooters @ 9. If it rains, we could do Dobbin. Minimally I'll go to both starting pts (hooters, sbux) in case ppl show up.

I'm gonna check out the roads as soon as I get up. If they're wet is it safe to assume that we're just gonna do Dobbin? I'll check this and the starbucks thread for more info. So be sure to post what we're doing.
