Posted on Vimeo. Not sure if there is a way to embed that here.

Thanks for posting the vid kind sir, will check it out shortly  |
You're the man, Kirk. Watch, errybody, how closely that white nismo tailgates that dark Z at the front. lol jk
|
I would have been closer but the rocks were flying fast and furiously. Have a couple new chips in the front of the car, OK it looks a bit sandblasted but nothing Dr. Paint Chip can't handle.
Next time I will be much closer. Also I am looking at getting a hood for the camera so that it can be mounted inside the car so the sound will be better instead of a constant wind rushing past noise. If you don't have a hood you have reflections off of the windshield due to the glare off of the dashboard. And if you have it outside you have to make a crappy sound track up... |
Nice vid Kirk! Ahh, now I remember how torn up that road was

Thanks for the great work on the video Kirk, I didn't know you were a DJ ... enjoyed the music. Would be awesome to get multiple cameras and walkie talkie next cruise :tiphat: |
Walked talkies definitely help a lot. I will check out the video when I get home later tonight but thanks for posting it
|
Quite the eclectic music selection.
I was closer to you guys than I realized-- I saw a lot of the same cars, and that PT cruiser just a little ways past where you saw it. I failed when I went right on Meckleysville though...10:19 was cop two's hiding place, and where I shut it down... |

Can anyone identify the intro sound clip that lasted the first 30 seconds??? I am laying money on No... My dual camera setup will be running next time. No batteries this time. Doh :wtf2: |
Very nice Kirk!! I will bring my camera and mount system next time (not nearly as cool as yours). The video makes the road look smooth, but seeing the *** end of my Z bumping up and down shows the truth.
For those watch that weren't there, take notice of how the white Nismo never hits its brakes.... sick  |

@Kirk, I like the collection and the song is Love Missile F1-11. How much richer am I because of the bet? Western Union, Moneygrams & Credit Cards accepted though I don't guarantee the limit if you give me your credit car. My pocket only takes bills in the range of $100+ please, the rest gets spitted back out  |

And yeah, the vid shows just how bad my "stop" was. :shakes head: I was through it before I hit the brakes. I blame Shahid. |

Besides you probably used a smart phone app on the audio stream... Which is definitely cheating... |

The house always wins, besides you are not old enough to remember Sigue Sigue Sputnik. |
I will think of it as Vegas once the casinos roll in the Arundel County, MD sometimes this year. I had a pre-taste by the Kirkster ;) never heard of the Sigue Sigue Sputnik but I'm sure my older friend "Googlie" has.

Guys - I found the best road I have ever seen in PA yesterday, its rt 425 south from Craley, PA all the way into Fawn Grove, PA which is only 15 min east of Shrewsbury.
The road is smooth paved with no shoulder work or patch jobs (a rarity in PA) and has everything from smooth sweeping 60-70mph turns to complete switchbacks and a 9% grade for elevation change... twice. It is in farm country, so traffic is minimal. I went for a drive yesterday after doing the chuch/family Easter thing and hooked up with a guy on a litre bike and we just busted it through this road. Next meet up North we have to check this out. Its a little out of the way, but very worth while IMO. Pennsylvania Route 425 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Plus I can even.... wait for it.... make this drive end at Hooters in York :yum: |
