Nice meeting you guys too! Glad the rain held off for the most part of the day. I'm back up here today, stop by if you guys roll to the show again.
|
the weather yesterday was luckily decent for the show and it was good fun. I'll stop by briefly in a few hours before heading back home.
When we were leaving Seacrets yesterday, a bike behind rarwz got hit by a Jag - We heard tires screeching, the next thing he saw was the biker getting back up. The Jag driver was apparently distracted by something specific, either by the girls around or by the Z's sight :p Good thing no one got injured. |
Did you win that trophy that was in front of you car in the first photo?

Going to the DUB Show again this year? I hate that I missed this weekend but I'm hoping to make the DUB Show again like last year. And maybe this year at the DUB Show if I decide to be an indoor participant they won't stick my car in the corner where nobody can see it. At least now I have air ride and will be able to bounce around like the other DUB cars. :icon14: |
Just got back from OC, took us 4.5h as there was an accident on the Bay bridge. I stopped by before taking off but your car was alone outside while you were cooling off :p Congrats on the win I'm not surprised a bit. 2theextreme, hopefully you make it out there next time

yea def heard, and somewhat saw a biker get hit. He was ok, but man that sucks.
On our way home sat night, there was an SUV that went off the road on 50, and rolled. The roof was a little shorter, and all the windows blown out. Everyone was ok, just some very shocked high school seniors. Also on the way home, at one point I was in the right lane, and M45 was pacing me in the left. I thought it was funny as there was a is300 (from what i could see, tastefully done) and 1.8T VW (white w/ green 16" rims... my god is it ugly) behind him. A few exits later, the M turned for an exit at the last minute. I couldn't see the is driver, but the 1.8 was two young kids with the beiber haircut. Well these two idiots decide that they aren't going to let anyone pass, so they get infront of me, then they pace each other. I decided that they were idiots and going to create an accident so i stayed way the hell away. Car after car get up to them, tail, flash lights etc to try and pass. Nothing. One guy even tried to pass on a merge lane, but the 1.8 sped up to match the guy so he couldn't. You can only stand so much of that before baby godzilla needs to show whos boss. So I simply waited for them to get to a point where there was a car in the left lane (then the 1.8 would get behind the IS until they passed it), and got right on the IS's bumper. CCCCCCCCCOMBO BREAKER. :gtfo2: the VW was forced to get behind me, then i passed the IS at first chance, and it was clear sailing. I was very greatful that the jack asses didn't start messing with me after that. Not that I don't think I could put it in 5th and peace out, but people screwing around like that is how accidents happen. Glad everyone made it home in one piece! :shakes head: |

Some things are bigger in real life, it looks like the camera actually subtracted 10lb on those thangs. |
:icon18: I tried my best to help out with the pics but it got to be a lost cause. I'll post up pics of our cars, we weren't part of the show but I'll do it
I cruised on the way back with a modded G37 and we had a very pleasant and safe ride up to St. Michaels. Some of those kids are just too reckless in their driving and quite frankly don't seem to care if they put others drivers in danger, good job with the combo breaker
