Stillen SP installled by Pomoco Nissan in HR

After gettting information from Stillen this is what I got to share. The Stillen SC is available thru a local dealer.

That is good news that a local dealer in Hampton Roads and is doing the installation of the Stillen SC. However, this comes with some consequneces.

Pros - Plenty of HP (Of course)

Cons - Voided Powertrain Warranty, & Price.

Total cost with labor and parts quoted to me by the Parts/Service Department $8,000.00.

The dealer only warranties the labor for 12 months.

The point of contact is Kenny Service Manager.

And NO, I don't work for Pomoco, just letting the Mid-A area guys know, especially HR.

yeah I spoke to them and worked with them before and know the managers. Not bad for somethings. I also had good dealings with Nissan of NN. Pomoco has always offored Stillen products if asked for, but saying that, I wouldn't be cought dead paying $8,000 for a Supercharger install.

The $8,000 includes the kit you say?

The Service Manager quoted me $1K for the installation, he didn't mentioned anything about tuning. So it might be $500 for shipping and $5.5K for the kit.

If it's a 10 hr install and the shop charges $80-100 hr that's $800-$1000.

I thought the tune was already done, just a reflash -- custom tune would definitely add 100's to the cost; a reflash should not.
