Noooooooooo Troop. That sounds like a homeowner or renter's insurance claim to me, all is not lost.

I'll try, but I imagine "acts of (mythical) God", are not covered LOL.

And now idea what my deductable is either.. uugghh

birdmanx1 08-15-2011 07:30 PM

pictures of property, receipts if possible, videos of before the incident might be helpful. ugggggggh sucks to go through the process.

b1adesofcha0s 08-15-2011 08:12 PM

Good luck with all that bro

If you have renters insurance and you have the coverage amount you selected correctly, this should be covered. It all depends. I'd get in touch with your insurance company pronto and find out.

TROOPER 08-16-2011 09:17 AM

State Farm say I'm covered, after a $500 deductible LOL.
But I'd be surprised if I got anywhere near the value of loss ($4000), maybe 50% if I'm lucky.

And probably wait 3 months arguing and waiting for money.. uugghh.

Going to talk to leasing company and see if they will take responsibility for a poorly grounded building.
