With only 225 miles on the car, something weird is going on...

So I get into my new pride and joy yesterday and fire her up and notice that the radio console display (NO nav) will not power on nor will the display show anything.

Additionally, the small "unlocked" light doesn't work either (the locks engage and disengage with no complications).

The car drives fine and all other electrical appears to function properly.

I am pretty pissed that this is happening, let along with only 225 miles on the car.

I did not have a chance to check the fuses yet but does anyone have any ideas regarding what gremlin might have caused this to occur?

There is no CEL. The Bluetooth did work because the calls went to the phone, but because the radio didn't work, I was unaware of the incoming calls. Additionally, with locks work fine as well.

Any help would be great. I did post this same message in the technical forum.

No idea, it could be a fuse but...

All I can say is take it in to the stealership, is under warranty. Especially for electrical problems.

:iagree: What he said.

Yeh, already have an appointment at Passport in Alexandria.

It was confirmed that the "unlock" logo does not light up by design. I checked with two dealerships and it was further confirmed on the tech forum at www.the370z.com.

Weird, but whatever.

Talked with the service department Passport and at the dealership where the car was originally purchased. Both are aware and said that, tentatively, it is probably isolated to the radio. We will see what they diagnose.

Problem was resolved. Two fuses were incorrectly positioned and, ironically, did not break. They were repositioned and all is good.

Glad to hear all is well and it was a minor issue.
