:icon18: Hell, I was in that photo and even I was like....."Ok, why was I holding my hands like that again? Oh yeah, there's a glass trophy there somewhere in my hands."

I loved Jon's reaction when he won......total shock! It was great!

GM_Traitor3.5 10-04-2010 07:47 AM

After giving Steve a ton of crap yesterday about his exhaust being too quiet, he finally broke down and ordered it :roflpuke2:

I don't know that they did win, now that I think about it. I think they just posed as if they were holding glass trophies. :bowrofl:

Say, Steve, you may want to consider moving the VA meets away from that Starbucks. I hear that three Mustangs showed up last time. It's only a matter of time before more and more show up and either a tractor pull or flea market breaks out.

Al, you missed out on seeing all the mud slung up on Steve's wheel wells. Rumor has it he was out on his farm, had to shoot his dog, then his John Deere tractor needed a jump start. After this exciting day, he immediately went to his local Aunt Sarah's pancake house for food.

Lies. John Deere's never need a jump start because they never, ever quit running.

Yea, nothing runs like a Deere... unless its a woman running from Steve after a bad date, then they're sprinting.

One a separate note, Whitney told me back at KC a few weeks back that there's a pretty good spot for a car meet in her neck of the woods. Did she talk to you foos about that?

Yeah she mentioned if briefly... wouldn't mind switching it up a bit and heading out to Gainesville for a meetup.

I'll take "S" words for $400!

GM_Traitor3.5 10-05-2010 07:06 AM

Well after seeing the pictures from ZdayZ last year forwarded by Steve, I'm now pretty convinced that I need to go. Those roads look EPIC! Of course, by then, I'll already have my FSTB and RSB installed. Steve warned me that there's some road that I probably shouldn't attempt in the Max, and instead should sit shotgun with one of yinz.

All that being said, what's the estimated cost for this great weekend?

m4a1mustang 10-05-2010 07:59 AM

Well, if you book a lodge room for yourself its about $90/night for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Then factor in food (dinner is provided on Friday and Saturday) and gas and beer. I'd guess the whole weekend would cost around $500-$750 depending on how much you decide to spend, but it's definitely worth it.
