Very small turnout this weekend but it was cool to see Amar again and to see carbonguy's 2011 GT500 :drool:

Oh and good to see all the Marylanders show up. After all the VA members sacrificed and drove up to MD for the last two weeks it was really nice to see you guys reciprocate and come down and hang with us. :rolleyes:

And I doubt I'll be making it to any meets in near future, VA or MD. I've got a lot to take care of here at home. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Well, got back about 4:45PM after leaving at 4:30AM this morning. Long drive but had a blast! No video of the track though as I wasn't able to get my camera fitted to the mount in time. I'm going to get a go pro HD after all that hassle. Anyhow, track was great!, Show was awesome! Wish you all were there to partake but we'll do ZDayZ next spring.

Here is another short video so you guys can get a feel for how many Zs there were.

On Friday we ran on the track at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway. Temps were in the high 90s at the track with temps on the track well over a hundred degrees. Lots of fun though!

Talked to Jay about it earlier today... who's in for Old Dominion on Wednesday afternoon? Some good 'ole 1/8th mile drag action.

IIRC gates open @ 4PM, track starts running at 5PM, and it goes on to around 9ish.

I probably won't be able to get there until between 6:30-7 to get some runs in. I'm pretty much set on getting something to eat and drink (of the alcoholic variety) afterwards.

Yeah, there were several twin tubo 300Zs and there was a MB 370Z TT that Tony got to ride in. It was very impressive. Also saw a PW 370Z TT that was highly modified by Forged and another PW 370Z NISMO TT I think from TOPSPEED.

Definitely in for Wednesday at OD. Coming from Alexandria, so most likely getting out there around 7. And eats/drinks afterwards FTW. :iagree:

This is a tough decision. Which meet can I not possibly make it to because I'm looking for work.

(1) King's Contrivance. This one's close to me, but if I try, I can really not make this one.
(2) Fairfax. Well, there's always the threat of Steve raping me, and I'd have to deal with heavy traffic on the way back, which is not unlike being raped.

You know what guys, I can't decide. Let me know where you're meeting, and I still won't be there because life is a bag of herpes for me these days. lol
