well the event starts at 11, so maybe we should meet up around 9, and leave by 9:30...and i think starbucks would be the best place to meet up as usual.

:iagree: Sounds good to me. I haven't MapQuest Annapolis Junction yet....I'm guessing it's at least 45 minutes to an hour drive.

I might drive down to Fairfax to caravan back up to here, LOL!

I agree Tony, looks like its up by Ft. Mead, just off 32 -- I think depending on Sat morning traffic we should probably plan for it taking an hour to get up there. I think if we actually LEAVE at 10:00 that would be about right....

MapQuest says 46 miles (57 minutes driving time) from our starting point (Starbuck's):

Driving Directions from 12599 Fair Lakes Cir Fairfax, Virginia to 9015 Junction Dr Annapolis Junction, Maryland

My money'son 51 minutes... Usually doesn't take me more than 50 to get down there from columbia.

Just FYI, I met (telephonically) the current president of the ZCCNV Sat afternoon -- seemed like a very nice guy -- called me as a follow-up to a membership application -- anyway, going to my first monthly get together at Kilroy's tomorrow evening (19:00) if anyone is interested. He said they currently don't have many 370Zs in the club although he recently just purchased a 40th Anniversary for himself. Did say there were several folks from the club going down for ZDayZ as well.

Anyway, fyi.....

m4a1mustang 05-11-2010 08:33 PM

Maybe we'll see them on the way down.

Or not.....probably intimidated by them new 370's....:icon17: I do agree that our CruiZ is just about the right size -- anymore and we'd almost have to break it out into a couple of groups.....

I'm really lookin forward to the trip -- should be a great time!

Tony -- fyi, you don't have to join in advance (although I did) -- according to Mike (the prez), you are more than welcome to just stop by and check out the group to see if it is something you are interested in.

You are probably already aware of the site info, but just in case, it is: Z Car Club of Northern Virginia (ZCCNV)

Yeah I've head them on since December. Depending on when you saw the yellow one it could have been me with my stock wheels.
