Sounds good, but its a 2.5 hr drive for me. If we could find somewhere closer it would be good.

Yeah, you're right Jon. I should have searched for "Sandy Point State Park" instead of "Sandy Point, MD" in Google maps. If this was the day of the bbq and I had manned up for the drive, I would have missed it all together :icon17:

Glen Burnie, MD to Sandy Point, Fruitland, MD - Google Maps

FYI, I went out to Sandy Point today after I got back from cars and coffee. Sandy Point is a MD state park located just before you get onto the bay bridge. It is very large with tons of parking space and BBQ grills, the beach, etc. The park costs 3 bucks to get into and is huge! When I pulled into their enormous parking area there were a bunch of four wheel drive trucks all lined up just like us at Starbucks having their own little meet! I thought man, this would be a great place to have a BBQ and chill out for an afternoon. Maybe at some point this spring I can plan something and we can all make it out there for an afternoon of Zs and BBQ.

Yea but who is going to put the grill in their Z....

Ok I know who...

The park already has grills, we just need to bring the charcoal and grill accessories.

I know 9am is early for those in MD, but you'll get to see some very nice stuff at the FFX Starbucks. I'm sure as the weather warms up, the meets will get even more cars :happydance:
