(only 205hp though :shakes head:)

 the ol' 3800 motor. I drove one of those around once, although it was mounted transverse and midships in a lightweight deathtrap called a "Fiero".

Good God, that was a fun car to drive.

Mine was the Series II though... where they finally put in a decent balance shaft to quell all the vibrations.

Ah sh*t... I said shaft and vibrations in the same sentence. Fire away! :roflpuke2:

I just wish Fieros were better built. Those things were so fast.

Wouldnt really know unless we tried. Not saying this would take place of the 370 meets, maybe just another meet once in a while to see who's around.

There's no harm in it. There are already other Z clubs in the area, other car enthusiast groups.

I'm certainly not opposed to the idea. But we all know that not everyone likes to keep the meetups legit (i.e. no burnouts, engine revving, etc.). I know of a couple guys on my Maxima forum that would definitely like to start a general Nissan meetup (sans the ricer crowd of course).

Well, you could try it if you want, but the 370Z group and all of the group-related postings would remain here. It's worked well for us in the past and we've actually picked up a number of members this way, and it keeps us directly involved with the rest of the 370Z community which really is the whole aim. No need to fragment it.

I'm not trying to be a douche, just, as club prez, I'm trying to make sure everything stays warm and fuzzy as it's always been.

Yeah absolutely. Im sure there are a bunch of people that would like to meet up for a mature meet. Im not down for engine revving and being a bunch of morons, but I am down to meet fellow car enthusiasts who might not be able to afford a 370, or has a family and had to get a 3.5 altima or something.

Fursure man. I agree that we should try to keep it as chill and easy-going as possible. Like you said, not everyone can afford or fit in a 370 (myself included). Would be great to meet other Nissan enthusiasts though and just talk cars

This is why we make you park separately from us. :bowrofl:

Well, all I'm doing is making sure that this group remains the same. That's all.
