There was a noticeable difference in throttle response and mid-range power especially at highway cruising speeds. There is a slightly louder intake noise as well since the tubes get rid of the factory air resonator.

Here's the links:

Z1 Silicone Post-MAF Intake Hoses

370Z / G37 K&N Drop In Filters

You see, this is why you all are bad influences. I see things like this and I buy them. I see springs, I buy them. I see cbe's, I buy them. Now I see these hoses and drop in filters, and im BUYING THEM. Beats the crap out of buying a 500 dollar intake!

Yeah!! Im sure intake tubes will fit your 5.0! ;)

I think you can make it this weekend. Yeah, you can make it. Considering you're the head honcho on the meetup group. You need to be less helpful to others. I dont help anybody ever, so I can make it to every meet :)

If I do end up going with black would you have time to show me how to replace them?

Try contacting them, they might be able to do custom colors.

Is the HP gain the same as an Injen setup, you think? It sounds like it'd be easier without all the modifications.

Probably not, but most of those gains likely come from ******* with the a/f ratio anyways.

Maf tubes and K&N filters will be a nice addition... the stock airbox does a great job at sourcing cool air.

Hey guys, so it looks like on the meetup group we have a couple new people coming. A guy named Ling and Whitney who came to a meetup before I was told. So who all is coming tomorrow?

Most importantly, where do you guys wanna eat??

m4a1mustang 12-09-2011 11:10 AM

Whitney is trouble! Uh oh!!! :bowrofl:

I am on the fence. It all depends on when my friend comes over to build furniture. :icon17:

lingling1211 12-09-2011 11:54 AM

I'll be there.

Hopefully my gps doesn't get me lost, not so familiar with the area :icon14:

b1adesofcha0s 12-09-2011 12:06 PM

I will be at a meet tomorrow morning, but it won't be this one :p

I'll see you guys in Columbia the following Saturday though

Ling, If you end up taking 66 west, they did some road work and it will mess with your gps. You need to take the first right after getting off 66, dont go all the way to the stop light cause you wont be able to make a right there.

And be careful with the merge after you make a turn off of the Parkway. There's a stop sign there apparently.

Yes, this is EXTREMELY important!! If you arent paying attention after you go through the new detour making the first right after getting off the parkway you will miss it. Its easy to miss. Look forward to meeting you.
