Corner Balancing

Has anyone ever done it or know of a shop that offers it? I wanted to ask before I started making calls around. I'm pricing up scales now just to see if I really want to make the investment and then circulate them through the group possibly. Being a mechanic and a big DIY guy, I'm actually kind of itching to get them just to add it to my repertoire. Thank you guys in advance.

I purchased the Z1 diff bushing tool if anyone wants to use it about a month from now.

My Corvettes are corner-scaled and aligned with simulated driver weight in the driver seat and roughly about half a tank of fuel. The process is somewhat time-consuming and the result is a car with a perfect diagonal weights and riding high in the left-front corner.

But I have no scales. I'd rather not purchase any because I don't plan on doing this again for a while. I need to either borrow some or pay a shop to do it. I don't know of any near by places.

It's possible to corner weight with bathroom scales and some home built lever arms. I've never done it myself but seen numerous references to it on the interwebz.

Quick google search yields this:

I thought you were going to get a set.

At any rate, usually it's a workshop dealing with race cars equipped with corner scale. Is there one specializing in BMW, Corvette, or Porsche in your area? If they didn't have the expertise, they may be able to suggest one.

PTuning in Manassas can and will do a fine job at it. Better shops close to me in Sterling (Mach V and RRT).
