so who thought blocking their rear window would be a good idea?? I'm totally perplexed by this one...it's not even the same color white??

still good to see another 370Z out there though :)

you actually can't see out of that portion of the rear window anyways.

Reminds me of the blank white front windshield banners that were so prevalent in the import scene back in the late 90s- early 00s. You guys remember that?? Lol

I wouldn't be surprised if many people think Im a d!ck on here. Actually, I think most of us "former Domestic" dudes think the same, because we know what we thought looking at all the piece of **** rice boxes rolling around. "God f-ing damnit...not another one..."

Exactly. I hate rice and have always been (and still am) very skeptical about the import scene. I have met a lot of cool, knowledgeable guys and gals on the import side since buying the Z, but there still is a disproportionate share of general ricery and automotive stupidity rolling around. Mostly in the lower ranks, but it does trickle up every now and then into the higher-end (so to speak) imports.

The problem is that a lot of what comes out of Japan is rather expensive stuff and is "popular" in Japan, but for the US (and some other places) they view it as "rice." It is a very fine line between one and the other, I even have people calling my stock Z (besides performance parts) rice.

:iagree:

i've been around plenty of civic-type owners and such and always laugh at the real "rice" cars. had a friend that thought his 1.3 crx was the fastest thing on the road. then i pulled on him using 4th gear at 40mph. :owned:

it does seem to waver off when you get up a little higher in the price, but you'll still see some here and there. there's a guy in my ZClub that i would definitely consider an enthusiast; however, his Z is very gaudy and i find it ugly. it's his preference, and he's spent a lot of time doing the work and is proud of it, so i can't fault him for it.
