Super Werty Build
It seems like a good time to start a build I think, so here we go...
When I was 15-16 and looking for my first car to buy I was looking for a 300zx. It never happened and I ended up with a few different trucks over the years. When the 350z came out I of course fell in love, but then the 370z was announced and to be honest...I thought the proportions were off. Fast forward to 2013... while researching more mods for my truck that I was racing with at the time...I randomly googled "twin turbo v6" The very first hit was "the fast intentions twin turbo kit thread" Needless to say I was drooling all over my keyboard looking at the kit...that dyno sheet, the quality of the parts themselves, the videos, loads of good info...I was seriously impressed. I suddenly had an interest in the 370:yum: and started looking around this forum and seeing lowered, modded 370z's completely changed my mind. I drove down to the Nissan dealer and as soon as I sat inside my first 370z I had to have one. A few months later I picked up a new 2013 sport....and let the modding begin.... Day one I called Tony and ordered a catback.:driving: My Current Mods: Fast Intentions TDX Non-Res Carbon Fast Intentions 34 row Oil cooler + OEM "cooler" delete CSF Triple Pass Radiator Stillen G3 intake Z1 Lightweight Rotors front and rear (slotted) Z1 Poly Trans Mount WC Lathewerks SS shift knob Eibach Sways Stance SS+ Truetype Coil Overs 13K/8K SPL Camber arms SPL Toe arms SPL Lockout Bolts Forgestar F14 Michelin PSS 265/35/19 & 305/30/19 GTR start button Tint Various 6k LED (tag/cabin/corner/reverse) 6k HID bulbs Blacked out headlights Amsoil fluids Future Mods: FI TT kit...with every option maxed out:tup: A few pics... http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...pse082bf36.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps246d05bb.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps1c40464e.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps8917b921.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps0a2fec9f.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps2456dfad.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps8ec41b39.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...psca1ba31a.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps34aa356c.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...ps9aa7911a.jpg |

I love it. Nice build.
How do you like the trans mount? |
Sweet Color!
|
Quote:
To add to this. You can stretch the stock mount with your hands very easily. Z1 doesn't budge at all. The transmission is really twisting under load with the OEM mount |
'bout time you started a journal.
|
Is there anyway you can post a video of the NON Res CF Exhaust? Ive been searching and searching for a video with JUST this single exhaust mod (No Aftermarket HFC/Test Pipes) and I can't find any of decent quality.
if its not too much trouble, can you post a Cold Start and Interior sound vid? I'm debating between NR CF and 12" Res CF. Thanks |
Current status looks nice! Keep it up!
|
Right on man nice work...we still need to hook at some point!

Got it...maybe in the late winter or early spring?

Really nice car man!
Hows the difference between the stock rotors and the lightweight Z1 rotors? Can you feel a noticeable difference losing all that unsprung weight? Also how hard was the trans mount install? |
Quote:
The Trans mount install is very easy. Took me ten minutes with two Jacks. |
Again how does the trans mounts benefits it terms of upgrade mod?
|
Helps put more power to the wheels... Helps you not miss shifts by keeping the shifter still. Removes one pound off car
|
Are there 2 trans mounts to replace?
Did you change your engine mounts too? I presume you got the urethane ones right? Too many questions. Happy New Year to you! |
Clean mods. Very nice.
|
Great looking car! Rims are a nice color
