Rear end blacked out
19 Attachment(s)
So recently I took my door handles, tail lights, fog light, and spoiler light to a paint shop and got them blacked out. The door handles are color matched to G41 Magnetic black. The rear end is painted black a little darker than my liking but they still look great. The removal process was simple for the fog light and door handles. A little bit of work for the tail lights. The spoiler light was an absolute PITA!!! It took me about two hours to reinstall because of the double sided tape and an hour to get it off. Yea I know, I take a lot of pictures. I also went ahead and replaced the reverse lights from Superbright LED's. They look 10x better. Left is old, right tail is the new LED installed.

The process was really simple to remove and reinstall, just the keyless entry bolts were a little tricky not to strip. They look great overall. If anyone does this process, you can roll up your windows and lock your car, to unlock it just hold down the unlock button to roll the windows back down.

These new lenses just look a lot better than the factory ones. They also let more light through :)

Love the many pictures, although i think thats whats taking you so long on some things haha. I had my tails done the same way at a body shop with clear coat and a drop of black, I ended up coming to the shop after his second coat, and we would add one coat every few min until i decided it was dark enough, which is the only way to get exact % you are looking for. Now, I'm not a fan of the tinted tails because i kinda got tired of it but everything else is looking awesome.

Fast Intentions V2 Cat Back Exhaust 18" Resonators
Alright, so it has been a little while since my car has had attention so I decided to get ahead and get an exhaust. This is the one a lot of the Hype is about so I decided to give it a shot. Installation and taking off the Oem was fairly simple. Took about 2.5 hours total for my little brother and I. As soon as I got this exhaust installed I was like Man........ This sounds like pure SEX!!!!! Every time I rev and let off it makes a loud hiss from the intakes. Even when I am shifting gears it lets a hiss out, kinda like a BOV LOL. Somebody even asked if I was turbo lol. Anyway, I rate this exhaust a 10/10 and wouldn't trade it for anything. The drone is bad under 3k, but when i was on the interstate I didn't even notice it was there on cruise control at 3k. So overall, I think this is one of the best mods and I love it.
I made a two videos, one of the cold start and also one of slight revving. Enjoy! Cold Start Minor Revving -Raj |
Congrats, Raj! Glad you are happy with the CBE. It definitely sounds mean. Has the new exhaust helped any with eliminating the CEL you were getting due to the HFCs?

RJM Clutch Pedal Install and Review
4 Attachment(s)
I installed this pedal hoping to get a better feel of my clutch, while i have a better feel of it, it still feels mushy, i am partially afraid its damaging my master cylinder. I love the clutch feel, but it is much different than stock. The install was a major major PITA and I recommend taking it to a shop and save your back. This was the one mod that I hated installing. The main reason was the small space. Overall i rate it a 6/10. The friction point can be adjusted. The pedal is very stiff compared to stock, pretty sure it can be adjusted, but I still feel as if it has more wear on the master cylinder. I am considering switching back to stock.

I love mine and the car drives so much better once you do some fine tuning adjustment to the RJM pedal |

When you say you hoped to get better feel but it's "STILL" mushy I assume you mean your clutch had issues before you installed my product as the factory pedal should not feel "Mushy" knor should your pedal with my product installed? My first conclusion reading this is you either have air remaining in your clutch system that was never bled properly or you had a bad master cylinder already prior to installing the new pedal assembly. I don't know how you "feel" the pedal assembly is wearing out your master cylinder? Is it making noise, is it doing anything abnormal? The pedal assembly simply pushes the master cylinder rod in and out. As long as you didn't poorly setup the angle of the clutch rod (which is fully adjustable) then the clutch rod will be pushing in and out perfectly straight and not causing any additional wear on your master cylinder over the factory pedal. As for the pedal being too stiff that sounds like the AFP settings are setup incorrectly. If installed per the guide using 75% initial starting point the pedal would have been about 20% lighter then the stock pedal, Not firmer as you stated you had immediately after the install. I can only assume you have a very low AFP setting dialed in which is not giving you the benefit of a lighter pedal or the wider engagement window which the whole product is based around. Not having the effect of the AFP being set correctly I can see why you were disappointed with your setup. If you had come to me with your concerns I could have easily walked you thru the steps required to better dial in your pedal assembly as you indicated you haven't done to improve the feel. As for the tight working space I 100% agree its not the most comfortable place to work under the dash of a Z... however that is no fault of the product. I do tend to disagree on who should install the pedal though. Doing it as a DIY customers get a good understanding of how it goes together and how adjustments are made so they can dial the pedal in to their personal liking. Customers who simply have shops install are clueless how to adjust it after and often struggle to dial it in afterwards. Great shops take the time to have the customer test drive the car after the initial install and then have a tech further refine the pedal feel before they leave. Poor shops push customers out the door as quickly as possible with a base setup and no tuning help leaving the customer to struggle on their own. As well I'm not sure why you purchased a second unit from me for your brother if you truly feel the product isn't worth it? If you'd like to get your pedal issues sorted out please don't hesitate to send me an email and I'll walk you thru fixing up your install step by step. Best Regards, Ryan@RJM |

I'm currently unaware of any bunch of things that are messed up by using my product and apparently so are my hundreds of happy customers who posted reviews here and elsewhere. Ryan@RJM |

Ryan it was a simple mistake, the pedal is amazing once adjusted. My tech that helped had an error that I fixed thankfully with your help. I will go back tonight and edit what I put. I am very satisfied with the pedal, I just forgot to update this website. -Raj |

No worries, thank you for clarifying. I'm happy to hear it's dialed in now and you're enjoying the new pedal. Best Regards, Ryan@RJM |
And this is yet another reason why the RJM adjustable clutch pedal is one of the best mods for our cars: It not only greatly improves upon an unsatisfactory OEM part, but it also comes with some of the best customer service and support you will find anywhere.

Carbon fiber wrapped headlights with halos. I absolutely love these lights and they really do do wonders on breaking necks and get attention. :) http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...a911e0eb35.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...456d046746.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...f5466d4160.jpg

This light is soooo bright. It matches up well with the look of the LEDs on the oem lights and it is just a very well made piece for the rear. Amazing job EVO-Rhttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...a2df6f076c.jpg[IMG]http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/

This hardwire I got done at a local audio shop. Very clean set up and I love it. Can't help to get aggravated at the rattle from the mount, but that's because of how much drone my exhaust has a 2k haha. Great mod for saving tickets for sure. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...a9929860a0.jpg

Engine Cover, Battery Letters, and Brake Fluid Letters Painted
4 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, it has been awhile since I have updated my thread, but I recently painted my engine cover and the letters on it as well as the two side covers we have. I also had my get 3's powder coated and installed the PCV hoses from Z1 motorsports! The paint is holding up great to the heat!

Door reflector light and Z logo
4 Attachment(s)
This is an amazing mod at night time, I really love how every time that I have open the door I get a compliment from someone. It is really bright at night and the reflector also looks pretty nice, I got tired of it being a blank haha. Enjoy the pics and NO I did not rev that high, I took a pic of the gauges when the car was starting up.
|
looks good, curious as to where you found the Z logo? and how was set up/installation?
|
Thanks man, the install took 12 hours, no joke, did a custom OEM looking wiring harness and a complete wire tuck. Basically just tap into the ground of the door actuator and find the hot wire. I found the logos online, type in puddle lights 370z

that projector is so bad ***. I would never be able to install it though:tiphat:
