isamu ill pm you later... promise...
update... well... i was able to align the fenders with the headlights hood a pillar... but im still having problems with the door... :shakes head: so now i gotta come to a decision.... either i cut the vent out and re adjust it... or i lay fiberglass on top and loss the cf....well see... its impossible to close the gap near the door ive been playing with the fender since 5... its 8 now..... and its only the passenger side :bowrofl: if i do cut it.... jesus... im not making it to both meets... |
Who did you buy the fenders from? Id have them adjust the fitment and send you new ones personally. Sounds like a 80-85% fitment part which I would not be happy about. Also considering you had to drill holes too.

He got them 2nd hand.

Dont lose the cf, mod the fiberglass part instead, or cut out the vents and mod it into your original fender? |

 thats exactly what im gonna do..... imma cut and readjust.... thought about it the whole night... couldnt really sleep really... i was so irritated.... i dont wanna cut the oem fender... with how salty the climate is here.... those two things will eventually seperate... ill just re fiberglass the CS fender  great idea about showing only one side... i think thats what ill end up doing haha |
id like to add another member.. im not gonna mention names... said he had a set laying around... i ask why he never installed it... i couldnt see why.. because he was a vendor on here... he mentioned that they were a piece of sh!t and he would probably cut his oem fender and fit the vents himself since the fitment was a lil off... i didnt imagine it to be this bad....

i had the same exact problem when i bought from uam, fitment was so off and the fenders has bit crack, but i showed to a body shop, they actually managed to do it fine.
you have to readjust the part which it clips on the hood, or make a new one. |
