a lil update... there is a storm here right now... nothing to wory about... body shop is still working on my z..... and i got a funny story for everyone... well since i was at 1500 with parts and labor.... i decided F*ck it.... ill re shoot the whole car instead... guaranteed no more mismatches and no more soft shitty factory paint.... the paint i chose which was much more higher quality than the dupont chromabase which was PPG for the base and a PPG high glamour poly clear is being used on my car.... :tup: the body shop is moving really really slow on my car... but i told him... take your time because ill be an ******* if you cut corners.... :p i really care about my z and im not just some ordinary person that dont care.... all in all with that being said i spent 2600 now on the paint job.... i EXPECT that since i took it to probably one of the most expensive shops here... that they wont cut any corners.... and they shouldnt f*ck up because they are only shooting the outside and not changing the color... lets keep our fingers crossed guys :tup: reason why i didnt change color this shop qouted me 4,000 which i almost had a heart attack lol :icon14:

update... z is finally ready for paint.... shes on jack stands right now.... volks are off the car... she is completely stripped.... i requested to strip her myself therefore no breaking tabs and snapping fasteners.... i have ended up with more than 50 bags of ziploc bags containing different screws and bolts for different parts of the car.... separating the mines and oem sport wing is definitely nerve racking.... black overlay for roof is stripped.... i added some black accents on the front and rear bumper as well as going for a GTR black A pillar.... btw the A pillars on our cars are really delicate... almost broke mine today :bowrofl: fenders are so perfect... still cant believe they got that stuff to fit right.... without cutting and readjusting it... should be done in this coming week or next..... im pretty damn excited.... i wish i brought my camera today but i was so swamped at work, when i got off i completely just went straight to the shop to finish stripping my car..... i am so broke guys right now... it hurts.... :( i really wish i had the rear jnext fender trims so i dont have any other thing to worry about painting..... but im gonna have to put that on hold for now....

yes i installed the fenders..... :tup: but they were shot OFF the car during that time man... they did an awesome job fixing the gap issue i ran into :tup:

alright fellas... panels are all back in place now... she actually looks like a car again :happydance: driver fender bumper both skirts and the spoiler is the only thing missing on my car.... :tup: i think you guys should enjoy the new black accents to help pull in with the fender and stuff ;) i think it makes the car look meaner.....

they finished everything last night.... gonna final buff it today i think and the my guy said they should release it today at 6pm OR if not monday i hope they release it today so i can drive her sunday

so i had them paint the calipers satin black.... no more baseline red calipers for me,..... lol they still didnt finish her monday for sure... its nice to see her on the ground again :tup: wish i got her though yesterday... my friend was like... bro just drive her home? i was like BRO... shes cover in buffing compound in all the crevices and **** man i aint driving her home like that LOL.... the bodyshop said theyll detail her for me on monday and throw on the final glaze on the body and release her to me... i told him no worries even tuesday is fine... no use in rushing now you know?

FINALLY got my z back :happydance: took her for a drive and it never felt so good... i think i would call it for this year... im pretty tired of stressing over mods... i think its just :driving: and enjoying her from now on... top secret EC is my last mod... got an email that its still pending... :shakes head: these guys must be super busy or sleep on the job..... ill start up modding next year again... needa rest these pockets lol ill take plenty of pics of my z tomoro morning.... i got her back at 8pm at night so thats why i wasnt able to take pics....

Hells yeah brotha, time to just chill out and enjoy her. I'll be looking forward to the pics....
