Thanks man, anything you can do will be appreciated. I know you didn't do the front but put your best guess on it. On all parts put stuff like any holes that needs to be drilled or modding etc...

sorry for the late reply man.... i can get a qoute tomoro morning.... i didnt even know you replied..... honestly im not a fan of folding the lip.... but i know some companys fold the lip then the body shop has to pretty much un warp the folded part and prep and re paint it.....

btw guys im thinking of getting a carbon hood.... and roof maybe... this is really later on later on.... but just some fun ideas.... but instead of leaving it carbon im gonna paint it solid red... like everything so no carbon will show LOL JK im thinking of shooting red candy over it so it will look like red carbon... is that gay? or im just really bored and should just stop.... and stick with my set up and just save money....

I think you should get the Seibon TS Style Hood and leave the vents unpainted like me =)

ive always loved that hood only thing stopping me is that it rains alot here :( so wouldnt that make the motor super dirty? and would it be bad for the electrical components?

I don't drive the Z in the rain so it would not effect me. If I got caught in some rain I don't think I would worry to much anyway almost everything is covered with plastic. You can always find a covering around here anyway so I could pull off and see how much water was getting in. As for it getting dirty...probably will have to clean the motor area due to dust and dirt more often.

I thinking about the CF GT-R stlye hood, but it also rains it azz off here. Then I thought I could get the hood bring it to a local gasget/rubber company and get some removable plugs. Then keep them in the car just in case i'd get caught in the rain. Any thoughts????

I see no issues with a TS style hood, I am getting one, as long as your intake filters are covered properly.
Mine are up in the front passenger side so having a vented hood is not going to change anything.

Don't they make rain guards to help assist with channeling water away from the engine?

Some hoods do come with them, but i'm unsure about the one i'm thinking about. It's the one Trip has on his sliver Z.:yum:

It's very cool, just to wild for me. The GT-R style one mostly painted, except for the air holes with the CF amuse i have sitting in it's box. One of the new fenders that has come out, maybe the VIP wing. I think it'll work for me, i've only got 4k saved for the SC kit so i'm a good ways away from that.

That's the TS style hood right? I like it, just a little to much "HEY look at me", just like the amuse wing. I like them just not for me.:tup:

im not too sure lol i think this is a similar hood to the ts but instead the lines go out bigger... this one is by vis...

I think it would look good Sim. While some may think it's over the top...I feel like with the longer amuse front bumper, no fangs, etc. - the vented hood does something to complete the look. Think about the amuse 350 superlegerra...the hood was perfect w/ that kit, IMO.

I'm actually going w/ the Carbon Creations hood that Marco sold me recently. I'm painting it all white though...so let's see how it looks w/ the amuse kit. I'm sure some will love and some will hate...and so it goes w/ modding!! BTW, I know Rick at Status is coming up w/ a new hood too...probably gonna be ready by June.

Funny abt the spoiler - I actually purchased the Mines, but saw the Type 3 at Ricks shop this weekend. Loved it...and bought it rite then. Sooo - brand new Mines for sale soon, even tho I do think it looks great w/ amuse too. I know, I have a mod problem... :shakes head:

BLEH update.... nothing fancy or flashy my intakes came in... i finally have a branded intake.... even if it doesnt produce horsepower at least it has heat shields and sounds nice lol the sucking sounds real deep around the 4,500 rpm marker i also got a sweet deal on an ALPINE class D monoblock amp :tup: 60 bucks... were can you go wrong with that? :tup:

hopefully in a few weeks.... ill get my nardi steering wheel and some titanium engine bolts.... then ill send my parts to tony so he can finally carbon wrap my interior pieces... honestly im running outa ideas for mods..... lol other than the hood but i dont feel like spending another 700 JUST YET..... maybe some Password JDM CF engine covers or something along those lines... well see... :tup:
