Just had to put this here. Thanks to cooltoy for cleaning it up. there was a rooftop on the Z's roofline and the parking lines that he took out.

Next on the mod list:

Specialty Z clutch and flywheel combo plus Tilton slave.
Fujimura bumper or just go with the current lip set up and paint scheme but on CF.
New set of brake pads and rear rotors.
CF diffuser is one comes along for cheap.

The skinny on the front nose finisher

Here's the skinny on the front nose finisher from Nissan.

Fitment is 99% on mine and dependent of installation. They supply templates for the holes needed to install the nose finisher using nylon rivets and double sided tape. Drilling the right size hole is critical to get the rivets to bite. Too small, it would be difficult to push in and will have a gap. Too large, it would not bite and will rely primarily on the double sided tape. You don't want that.

There was a small gap on my initial install. I was able to fix it after taking the bumper off for my halo install. I pulled the pins from the back side to flush a section onto the bumper and eliminate any gaps.

I know masking tape overkill.

Nice write up. I have been thinking about buying the nose finisher

Sent from my Android 'cause I'm too lazy to open the computer.

axmea? 09-19-2014 04:12 PM

Nismo nose finisher -- I got it at Hammerton's (on amazon) for $269 free shipping but now on sale with free shipping for $234 -- QAB only on their ebay site. Which is still a good deal because PW, PG, and one other color will be at an additional charge.

$351 JapanParts.com
$360 conceptz
$430 NissanUSA.com
$276-385 NissanAutoSport.com depending on color.

This is funny Agent K. The great thing going for me is I have a great wife. She knows I need my toys and lets me reasonably indulge.

New Set of tires

After 24k miles it was time to change. got a new set of tires. I am on my 3rd set. The stock BS tires and 2 sets of PSS. Glad the PSS lasted this long. In at 5:55 out by 6:45.

Also discovered the rear wheel was slightly -- very slightly bent. Will be taking it to TRU WHEEL in North Hollywood to get it straightened out.

Passenger side skirt damaged on recent trip. Hit a block of flying wood on the freeway. I hate LA freeways. It is one of the worst in the country. Big difference once you cross county lines i.e. Buena Park going into Orange county on the south bound 5 fwy. Huge difference.

Contracted AeroJacket for a CF replacement. Hopefully finished once they return from SEMA.

Zoren 370 10-31-2014 04:09 AM

Would you be selling the other piece? If your going CF?

I will. It's a quick fix and repaint. I've been wanting to switch it out to CF at some point so this is my opp. I'll post pix once I get it out.

Cracked skirt

On the passenger side. Debris on L.A. freeways creating havoc on our cars. Piece of wood slamming on my passenger side skirt. I really did not need this expense. It rattles at high speed and currently held at bay with a small amount of white tape. Not visible from the outside.

Going with a CF skirt to replace these.

LA Freeways are the worst :mad::mad:!

Are you planning to leave them all CF Raf?

Hey Lohit. Hope all is well at SEMA and hope you generate a lot of interest, exposure, and inquiries.

No. The plan was to paint the wall PW and then leave the extension CF.

Just like this..........but CF in the area painted black. Next is to get CF SS lip with the paint scheme I have now. I also want to CF the fangs.
